On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me . . .

A beautiful new nativity!  I gave Joseph a staff (toothpicks super glued in) and we accommodated the angel.  Audrey added the star.  I think it looks perfect.  It reminds me of the nativity we had growing up.  Thanks so much, Mom and Dad!

Ready for Christmas

Thanksgiving 2012

Not only did we have millions of things to be thankful for (including our new baby Jonny boy), but we enjoyed great company (my parents) and great food.

These pictures are all out of order, but you get the idea.  Our turkey was heavenly, as was the gravy.  I realized that I LOVE turkey and cranberry sauce.  Holy cow, do I love it.  Our Thanksgiving Tree this year was a wild success thanks to the kids added decorations.  Since we use that cardboard trunk each year, I'm happy they made it special.  Some of the old favorites showed up again, like mermaids, fairies, and sidewalks.  We had some new ones this year: boxes, jumping, and tape.  All things to be thankful for.

Lauren and Hiram visit

We love visitors!  David's sister Lauren came and brought Hiram for us to meet.  He's ADORABLE!  And he and Jonny are best friends now.

While Lauren was here, Julie and Tyson's baby Luke was blessed at Brent and Cheryl's house.  We got to meet a lot of Tyson's family.  We also had a fun photo op.  (Audrey was in the bathroom, so she wasn't in the picture.) 

So many babies!  The girl on the far left is Tyson's sister and her new baby, then Julie, me, and Lauren.  So fun.  The babies are sitting in order of youngest to oldest.  Jonny was the runt.

Hiram is such a sweet, happy baby.  The girls loved having another little guy to hold and cuddle.
