I don’t know where the time goes, but anyway while plugging images back onto my site I found a picture taken about a year ago that I meant to share. This seems like a good time. On the way home one day last March, DH noticed a car merging onto the interstate. It looked really weird, see…

As we got closer this is what we saw…

This is the one of the craziest looking cars I’ve seen. I don’t know what possesses people to sink a lot of money into a vehicle to make it look ridiculous. I guess some people have more money than sense.
It’s time to get back to mending posts. I’ll see you around. Have a good day! xo
Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me. This is freedom of choice week, so share whatever music moves you!

I discovered this artist in 2022 with her song, Dandelions. I meant to bring her to y’alls attention then but never got around to it but I thankfully the saved link to her song reminded me. After revisiting her YT channel, I realized the song came out in 2017 and it’s off her debut album Safe Haven. Dandelions became a sleeper hit the year I found it after got a lot of exposure on TikTok leading it to charting internationally. That all being said, I wondered if she had anything newer and as it turned out, she released the song, Storm, last November.
The thing I like about this young female artist is she keeps her voice natural sounding and she doesn’t scream. Ruth B, please never change that about you because those kind of gals are a dime a dozen in the industry.
I hope y’all enjoyed the music. Are you ready? It’s now your turn to share what music moves you!

Everyone has time restraints. Please if you can, when you add your link to make an honest effort to visit, comment, or click ‘like” to let your bloggy friend know you stopped by. For some a small gesture means a lot and as I’ve said “liking” my post may be the only way I know that you visited.
Have a boogietastic week! xo

Songs to lift the body, soul, and mind!
I was introduced to Andrew Ripp featured with another artist by bloggy friends at Angelswhipser2011 back in January. Thanks to Granny and her two precious furbabies – Peachy and Faye!
Naturally, I had to visit his YT channel to sample more of his music when I found today’s song pick, Fill My Cup!
These words speak the loudest and certainly ones I can relate to over the course of my years. How about you?
Fill my house up with hoping Fill my plans up with purpose Fill my wounds up with healing Lord I need you to… fill my cup Fill my days up with meaning Fill my future with vision Goodness, grace and provision Lord I need you to… fill my cup
Fill my cup Lord Run it over Give me love, give me joy, give me peace Fill my cup Lord Run it over I am your child in need Lord, I need you to Fill my cup

The early Roman began the calendar year with March because it brought the first day of spring and new beginnings. As we approach the change in seasons there is visible evidence of life’s return in our area and perhaps where you live, too.
Pick songs that reflect the mood of sunny spring weather to come!

Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me! Thinking about spring just around the corner, I made a new song discovery that I want to share with y’all. The title initially caught my eye and found out on songfacts.com the meaning behind the ditty.
Frontman Kieran Shudall explained the background to this song to Pop Monitor: “This came from thinking about my childhood and how things seemed so much different back then,” he said: “memories almost becoming like a movie and everything seeming more interesting and the grass being much greener. A twisted nostalgia.”
I think we all can relate to these sentiments. The bubbly upbeat tune really makes you want to celebrate warmer days to come and perhaps even reminisce a bit about one’s own childhood with “T-Shirt Weather” by Circa Waves!
Some days it feels like T-shirt weather and others, I need to wear a sweatshirt. The good news is winter will end soon. It’s been a colder than usual one for us and I’m ready for spring!

It appears my email notification is working just as before. Hopefully this will keep everyone in the loop again, but if you’re not getting emails like you’re suppose to then send me an email with the address you used when you signed up and I will check my subscription list. 😉

For more music, don’t forget to check out yesterday’s BOTB post. Before I leave you, I wan to say farewell to music legend, Neil Sedaka who passed away suddenly on Friday. I read Neil wrote or co-wrote more than 500 songs. He left a plethora of wonderful song, many of them to top the chart. There are so many songs of his I could use to close with but as I breezed through the titles That’s When The Music Takes Me seemed the perfect.
Sending up prayers for Neil’s family, friends, and fans. RIP Neil!
Here we are in the third month of this new year. If you’re old enough, you probably are familiar with today’s battle song by Bob Dylan, Blowin’ In The Wind (<–link reference only). The 1963 song was made popular hitting the chart with Peter, Paul, and Mary covered it the same year. The song hit #1 US Billboard Hot 100 and #2 US Adult Contemporary charts that year, selling more than million copies and opening Dylan’s music to a broader audience. Hopefully you’ll find a favorite between the two well known contenders today. Listen to decide who earns your vote!

That’s it. Now, it’s up to you to tell me in comments who you like and why (optional), then next week on the 8th I’ll drop the results in my comments. I now have a page dedicated to fellow BOTBers at the top of this page. There you’ll find a list of participants who might be playing today.
Earlier this morning a new edition of Sunday Songs published. This is CAAC signing off, I’ll be back tomorrow morning to the hit the dance floor with Monday’s Music Moves Me and you’re invited to the party. Have a bandtastic day!
I enjoy the raw, gritty vocals of Jelly Roll and Chris Stapleton. I feel what they sing down in the depth of my soul. I think this morning’s song is computer generated reproduction of their voices and while I do not understand how that work, all that mattered to me in the moment was how powerfully moving the lyrics felt coupled with style of singing of these two well known artists. I knew I had to share it with you and I hope it blesses you.
This is a day of rest. There’s no need for words. Earlier this morning my March BOTB showdown went live and voting is now open and for 4Mers or anyone with music, you’re welcome to link up below. I’ll be back in the morning with Monday’s Music Moves Me!

Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me! This week, there’s no theme. It’s whatever music moves you. Last June I stumbled on today’s artist. I liked the name of the first track off the album playlist with the same title and decided to save this little jewel for this month. Here is Rick Braun “Kisses In the Rain”.
The name Rick Braun didn’t jingle any bells. Sometimes I wonder if I have any bells to jingle with all of these unknowns I find. A quick Brave search turned up a hit leading me to his website. There I learned he’s an trumpeter, composer, and producer with 30 #1 hits. What’s that? How can this be? Furthermore, he’s been around a good while beginning his career in 1980 as a singer and songwriter writing REO Speedwagon’s Top 20 hit “Here with Me” and the theme for NBC’s Midnight Caller. Later on, he returned to trumpeting, touring, and recording with some big names in the business we all know… Rod Stewart, Sade, Tina Turner, Tom Petty, Natalie Cole, Glenn Frey, and War. Kisses In The Rain is one of five acclaimed albums released by Braun as a solo artist. I look forward to exploring more of his music. I hope you enjoyed the playlist.

This is the last Monday in the month, which means it’s time to send out our hip-hip-hoorays to Robin from Songbird’s Crazy World who celebrated turning another year younger on the 18th. I hope your day was a special one, my friend! 👏🎉🎈🎂
I think I figured out away to remind some of you at least of my 4M posts by making it a priority to join Sandee each Monday. Next time on CAAC is a double post. Swing by if you’re in the neighborhood for a new edition of Sunday Songs and March 1st BOTB. Have a boogietastic week! xo

Songs to lift the body, soul, and mind!
My quest for songs of love spoken in the Bible ultimately brings me to my favorite and the most recognizable verse regardless of your religious belief.

February ‘s birthstone is the Amethyst and flower is the Violet. Find song picks inspired by the color purple, birthstone, or flower!
Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me! Purple is the color for February. The Amethyst is this month’s birthstone and the violet is its flower. Find song picks inspired by these prompts or put your own spin on it.
Purple Sky is from Kid Rock’s first all country album, Born Free in 2010. The album went platinum. I enjoy this side of Kid Rock. I got a bit tickled when I read that this is KRs first album that didn’t require a parental advisory sticker. I do prefer clean entertainment.
