The 38th AGM
I am back again in this small little town since last year, almost the same time, during the Mooncake festival season.
The Zenith
This year's AGM was held in Kuantan. I am not sure if we are having some kind of economy crisis, but the recent petrol hike might have caused people to be prudent about their spending. I could sense that the sponsorship was not forthcoming this year. Many companies had cut down their budget. Private invitation was not as many as previous years. For the first time in 7 years, Clinique has pulled out from the exhibition. Don't know why. The freebies and lucky draws were not as attractive as before.

About half of the members were not there. Also don't know why. So, the atmosphere was dull and boring. One thing I dislike going to east coast is that, there is no direct flight from northern west coast. Time was wasted with a tiring journey.

Hock Kee Seng
Guess, this must be the oldest supermarket in town.
The few surviving supermarkets around town are The Store, Hock Kee Seng and H-Lai Mart.
