While taking in a couple It's Always Sunny in Philedelphia's at 1am I came up with this image which reminds me of a shop in Japan which had a clean glass bowl full of tiny orange and red fishes.

The quote "I Overflowed" is taken from a Rilke quote "Insatiably I drank, but I was filled already with too much, and as I drank I overflowed." I haven't quite figured out how to integrate text into these, yet. SOLD

Dieu Donne Paper Sky

I'm doing/have done a benefit piece for the lovely folks at Dieu Donne Papermill in NYC where I worked as an intern in 2003/04 sloshing paper pulp around. They recommended me for my first 2 jobs as an artist assistant, a career I can't seem to shake. The unveiling is set for June 6th and I'll be on the Right Coast for the occasion and a duet show the same night with Sara Martin. After all that madness, summertime.

There was a beautiful chapel in Vilnius Lithuania called the Gates of Dawn, which was as epic as it's title. The walls were heavily covered with tin(?) hearts, arms, legs, and crowns, some engraved with names of the departed. It was quite a site and I was suprised to find there are no good photo's anywhere of the chapel. So I've done my own version of it and restrained from putting in guns.

Naughty Betty 1

I haven't posted anything new for a while because I have been doing drafts for the card company Naughty Betty Inc.
which is right up my alley. Here is an uncolored frame and crest design which they will incorporate whitty text into. I am going to Poland for 3 days in a couple hours and am very excited despite an 9 hour bus ride and 3 hour train ride to Krakow.

I've decided to participate in yellow-paint to hopefully stick my illustrations under the noses of more art directors. After changing my mind on the images a million times I settled on these two in addition to redoing the snake on the woman's arm, something that has bottered me since I created the image. ALSO I am going to Lithuania for 2 weeks on Monday in an effort to have some leisure (we will see).
