Gift of Abundance

What if we came to see
And became fully aware
Of the gift of abundance
In every moment right here

In every ray of light
Reflections of revealing
In every emotion felt
An overwhelming feeling

In every breath of breathing
Drawing of the fresh air
In every sound to listen
Vibrations in our ear

In every gift of wisdom
Through knowledge in our head
In every flavor of tasting
Consuming our daily bread

In our soul of receiving
Through the Spirit be heard
The treasures of heaven revealing
In every sense of the Word

With every gift from Good
As a blessing of grace
A joy to give away
Let’s cherish and embrace

Let’s walk in His way
With joyful clarity
With the heart to give
With generosity

With our God of abundance
We can always be sure
More love can we can fathom
And He always blesses more

Breath of morning
Filling lungs with fresh insight

Breathe upon us
Breath of sunrise
Caress within the dawning light

Breathe upon us
Breath of silence
Still the soul with ear to hear

Breathe upon us
Breath of soft breeze
Flowing through with a Word of prayer

Breathe within us
Breath of Spirit
From You we draw each living breath

Breathe beyond us
Holy Spirit
To live in us beyond our death

My cross, Your cross
Your body, My body
So small, so great
So strong, so weak

So selfish, so giving
So gracious, so needy
So broken, so healing
So loving, so grateful

So sinful, so perfect
So lonely, so whole
So hungry, so filling
Come dwell in my soul

The sinner forgiven
The lost is found
The lonely included
In faith, we are bound

Your feet, my feet
Your hands, my hands
Your heart, my heart
One will, Your plans

Your love, my love
Your gifts, prepare
Your Word, my word
Our joy to share

Yesterdays Forgotten

Of all the days we’ve lived
Come to see this view
Of yesterdays’ forgotten
With this, what do we do ?

All the wasted worries
So many were routine
Of precious memories
A heartful can be seen

What have we learned from
The pages of our book
Of wisdom collected
Let’s take a deeper look

That sin led to sorrow
And each challenge we face
That our God is good
And faith led to grace

That selfishness leaves us
Empty and lonely
The treasures of heaven
Are blessed in His body

Now becomes tomorrow
With this wisdom to live
In love that we receive
And love we’re blessed to give

Doing Gods Will

Of where we’ll go in life
We don’t know how far
But we always start
From where we are

In doing God’s will
Let us be aware
Of what we know now
And what can we do here

Who is with me now
To make the connection
To give and receive
The great interaction

To flow through the soul
As one in the Spirit
Our heart, mind and tongue
Of God’s love to share it

What do they want to give
And what is their need
Binding together
In word or in deed

And in God’s Presence
The same will hold true
With our prayer to offer
As One within You

Flightpath

A morning sky was painted
Of God’s light shining through
That chased away storm clouds
A beautiful view

Of the greater plan
The pilot unaware
He flew His plane into
What God did prepare

In colors of blending
It’s pathway is seen
God welcomes it’s flight
To be part of the scene

Here we are offered
A deeper insight
How his prayer was answered
Before he took flight

I met a friend
Of God today
So often found
Within my way

And each time gives
My soul a lift
A blessing shared
With joy it’s gift

In life’s trials
You did appear
And saved me from
My greatest fear

And always found
Within our prayer
Abundance of
Blessings to share

At heaven’s gate
We will embrace
In Jesus arms
Eternal grace

That we’re blessed
As our choice

God

That we serve
It’s our souls formation

Christ
For our sins
Paid the price
For our souls salvation

Prayer
Every one
Will be shared
As an inspiration

Souls
In our way
Everyday
Practice a connection

Grace
We believe
Joy received
In participation

Faith
That we live
Is we hope
From our graves ascension

Far From Holy

Feeling far from holy
Not even close to good
Where God wants me to be
Not in the neighborhood

I’ve reached a point in life when
It hasn’t worked my way
Time to give God a chance
This sinner now will pray

I heard a little whisper
Inside, it was bizarre
That I want you to know
I love you as you are

No matter what you’ve done
Know that my grace is more
Know that I am your God
That does not keep score

I alone am good
I am the Holy one
Come to dwell in Me
And let My will be done

Come to receive my
Mercy to embrace
Blessing forgiveness
And sharing my grace

Resisting temptations
Repenting from sin
Loving your neighbor
In Christ, bind within

Come to live fully
Your humanity
Joy in the fulfillment
Who I made you to be

With a heart to pray
And a soul to thirst
As My Son sacrificed
To put others first

So come dwell in Me
As I dwell in you
In Me, all is good
And is Holy too

Overwhelmed

When we are attentive
We see every place
God’s blessings abundant
We’re overwhelmed in grace

For these gifts undeserved
We look into His gaze
A prayer of thankfulness
We’re overwhelmed with praise

Cherishing His blessings
Each one to enjoy
Through seeds of gratefulness
We’re overwhelmed with joy

With our brothers and sister
Each one sharing of
In Christ’s body of binding
We’re overwhelmed in love

When we trust with faith
All our fear will cease
To bless unto this world
His overwhelming peace
