When a sweet little girl has two big brothers...

Image
She gets fed the nasty black jelly beans cause no one else wants them

Image
She learns naughty tricks like this

Image
She walks around with 15 toy cars down her shirt

Image
She gets to ride shotgun around the back yard.

Image
She gets inventive with her choice of seating

Image
She learns other naughty tricks like this

Image
She's happy to be in her crib cause she's somewhat protected

Especially when she has a weapon!

She's got two sweet brothers to love her and hold onto her so she doesn't fall out of the spinning chair.

home improvements

Image
We put new floors in our house!  This is something we've wanted to do before we even bought this house.  We're so happy we could finally do it.

Dennison and a few of his friends did such a great job!

We also hired some professional painters to redo a wall in the boys room.  Here they are hard at work:

Looks good, right?  Unfortunately, they're no longer available for hire due to some very specific child labor laws.

The finished product, Super Hero stickers and all.

my 3 kids

These 3 kids love each other.  They even act like they love each other sometimes!  badda bing!  And here's a sneak peak at our new floors.  I'll dig around and see if I can find some other pictures of the finished product.  I would take some right now but it's been two whole days since I cleaned my house.  Use your imagination to picture what it looks like now, keeping in mind the above pictured children.

The many faces of Jude

While we were spending lots of time in the car in Utah, Jude was our entertainment.  He started making all these faces and telling us what each one was.  So in no particular order, here are the many faces of Jude:
The "wheel face" (as in steering wheel):

This one was called "House" (no idea):

And I don't remember what this one was but it sure did made us laugh.

Vienna's 1 year check-up

Image
Well, our tiny little girl is still below that charts for weight.  She's 17 lbs 2.9 ozs.  She is closer to the curve than last time but still below it.  The pediatrician ordered some blood work just to make sure she's not iron deficient or gluten intolerant.  So we'll see.  Her height is 31.25 inches and that's the 93rd percentile.  She might've been a little generous in her measuring...  But anyhow, she's doing well.  It was a very hard morning for her.  She got three immunizations plus had her blood drawn.  It was awful!  You'd think it would be a little easier for me to handle after all I've seen Carter go through but I still walked out of the clinic crying today.  Have you ever had to have your baby's blood drawn?  I guess I've never thought about it but they do it in the arm just like anyone else except it takes longer because they have to use little syringes instead of using the vacuum.  Maybe it just seemed that it took so long because she was crying so hard she could hardly breath.  It was not fun.  Not fun at all.  But after a nap, she's back to her happy self.  Poor little thing.  Oh, and she's getting three new teeth right now.  Good thing we're well stocked in the baby tylenol department.
