The site has been a bit wonky lately, it seems like a lot of web spiders were just slamming it, trying to index everything. I've made a couple of changes. The first one means that you might see a "I am human" notice now and then when you load the site. If this becomes way too annoying I will revisit this. The other thing I changed may be good enough to fix things on its own.

And by the way, I've worked on updating the site with newer software and cleaning things up a bit recently, but I keep getting interrupted by more pressing demands. One of these days, I really will get a lot of stuff sorted out and try to get it updated (in a non-intrusive way). One thing I was thinking was that to make it easier to work on it, it might be really beneficial to get rid of some of the stuff like diaryrings for a while, and then work them out later. Just really work on having the main functions (posting, commenting, profiles, etc.) working - what do people think about that?
