When it rains…

I was checking my mails this morning. I clicked on the spam emails to check if there were any e-mails that weren’t supposed to be there.

OMG!

I immediately recogized EP_Programmes it was the one who e-mailed me a confirmation and told me I got accepted at the school I was applying for. BUT, I have to wait for funding first because if I pay for the 3 weeks that I will be studying there I will shell out more than 200K. I’m not crazy so wait I did. They told me that they would contact me a month before the seminar.

I immediately dragged the e-mail to my inbox for fear that the spam folder would eat it before I get to read the contents. Haha!

The email started with: We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected…

All the fatigue and stress I experienced were suddenly gone.

I’m going to the Netherlands in April. Woohoo!

High Spirits

Last Friday, the Selection Board deliberated for more than 3 hours. Being part of it, I needed to step out of the room because I was a candidate for one of the open positions for promotion. As I was ushered inside the room again, everyone congratulated me. I was promoted! Wow!

I was ecstatic not only because I was promoted but because four of my friends were too! Weee! This really calls for a big celeb!

All my previous anxiety about the changes that could happen this year faded. All of them will be joining me in the South Wing! Yay!

Semi-Rest

I was away for 3 days to evaluate a teambuilding seminar in Lagos del Sol in Cavinti, Laguna. Lake Caliraya is its tranquil self. We went there last year but I was so busy, I didn’t have time in my hands. This time, I had a very nice walk near its banks. For a change, I enjoyed our stay there.

Took some photos using my phone cam as a souvenir.

Back to School

I’m a bit apprehensive. I’m going back to school this Monday.

I’ve been away from learning another language for two years. I told myself that I should continually improve myself so I really need to enroll this year. This time I enlisted in Spanish. I really wanted to enroll at Alliance for my French classes but I’m not sure if I can this year. I’ll go for the free classes muna. πŸ˜›

I know that once I enroll, I really need to finish everything. Finishing the six levels would mean – two years of twice-a -week, 3-hour classes after work. *Sigh*

Good thing that a lot of my friends enrolled in the same class. I know that this will be a new experience for me again. I just hope I’ll learn to love the language as much as I love French.
