My Cougar Girls

I have the cutest girls in the world! And they got even cuter when I put them in some BYU cheer leading outfits I made. One of my goals this year is to make anything I can before I go out and purchase it- especially clothes. So I got out my old BYU graduation robe and made much better use of it! Here are the results:

I already had Kirsten's outfit from last year but I am in the process of making her a matching one as well.

Happy Valentine's Day...2 months late!

Will and I had a really fun date on Valentine's Day. We used a Groupon to go archery shooting, which was awesome. I was feeling like Katniss from Hunger Games so I had to braid my hair. Unlike Katniss though, I had decided to wear high heels while shooting which I imagine doesn't happen to often. I guess I just have skills! haha!
Actually, Will was the one with amazing skills. We made a bet on who could shoot all three arrows in the red and yellow portions in one round got to pick what we would have for dessert. Will won with his target twice as far away as mine! Not fair :( I was really looking forward to finally beating him at something. Sometimes we go to the nicklecade for dates and I have yet to find a game that I can beat him at. Well, at least I can beat him in running races!

Kiki's first dance recital!

Last week Kiki  had her first dance recital and did an awesome job.  She is in a tumbling/ballet class and has learned a lot of fun dance moves. Here is her dance.If you

listen closely at the beginning you can hear Raleigh.

Raleigh had to wear her Rapunzel dress and follow the dancers out of the room when they took a potty break.

Before the dance she and her class showed us some other cool moves they learned.

 She got some marshmallows at the end of the class and was super happy about it.

 We finished off the day with some yummy Culver's ice cream!

Stitches!

 Kiki got 4 stitches on her eyebrow yesterday! Poor thing, she was so excited about getting candy that she tumbled down the stairs and cut her forehead on a stair. But don't worry, she didn't drop the candy! She was actually really brave during the whole thing and was very cooperative. She even enjoyed hamming it up for her photo shoot. All of these pictures were taken within one minute. I guess she decided she needed to look sad in some of them because she had an owie.

 She also couldn't resist putting on my hard hat that Dada used last night in his cub scout skit. Apparently the skit was really good but I missed it because I was feeding Madi.

We were all sick last week so one day we stayed in our pajamas til lunch time. Aren't they super cute?! Madi even posed for the picture.
