Speedlight Pro Kits 2nd Workshop

The second workshop for speedlight pro kits was held yesterday in our studio with a relax tone as it was a Sunday. The turnouts were good, larger than the 1st one and everyone looks fresh and eager to find out more about the kits they already owned.

Joe Chan, photographer and product R&D was the conductor of the workshop. He begins with basic of lighting and citing useful examples for the better understanding of fellow photographers when using the speedlight pro kits.  

These photographers were all grins when the role was reverse to be the one being photographed. (statistic: Nikon D300, 17-35mm f2.8, ISO400, F7.1, Shutter Speed 1/15, Flexi-bounce)

The whole event was shot by using the 'Flexi-bounce' kit with speedlight.

Olympus FL-35R fits nicely onto standard reflector.

Many find the velcro not sticking right to hold, but there's a way to the strapping where it holds rock solid to the speedlight. We'll upload a demo video later on to guide you guys!

The colour gel is just a button mechanism and fits in seconds.

For your information, the barn doors will be rolled out this week together with the colour gels.

1st Workshop that was

We had a great time in the 1st workshop which concluded earlier today. The turn out was more than we expected as the confirmation list shown otherwise. The photographers were given an up close session on how to maximize the use of their speedlight pro kits. We sincerely hope that they have made good use of their time and expand their possibilities with the kits from now on.



The class started with the basic of lighting before it adjourns to product shots.

Explaining a point or two, Dennis was in his elements with the 'students'. The setup shown with just a single kit the 'no. 6' is enough to produce a good food shot!

The Speedlight Pro Kit launches No. 6 (soft box)

A real good look at the No.6, it's a transformed of the essential part from the standard reflector. A 3-piece set buttons up with a large diffuser that gives the evenly distributed softness to the portrait below!



Explaining the features of the No. 6, photographer Dennis Kok who helms the R&D along side with Joe Chan, was seen attending to the keen photographers pertaining to the latest Speedlight Pro Kit.

Fellow photographers checking out the effects of these No.6, needless to say they were pretty impressed!

Sharing the tips of these kits with the photographers, Joe Chan is rich with ideas and he capped with a strong backing of experience in the professional photography for over 20 years.

Second from right, Hong knows the kits very well as he's the producer of speedlight pro kits. His experience in professional photography comes in handy and made good for the quality control of these kits!
