Hey guys, my blog has turned into Our blog. Tamra is now controlling it, but I will definitely make the occasional post, so check it out.

So I picked her up. I didn't tell her where we were going. We drove up to Salt Lake City towards the airport, she was like, "are we going to the airport"...hahaha. we drove right past the exit to the next exit and pulled up to the private hangars where we met Bishop Beck and his plane.
After getting the crash course and hearing a couple of scary stories about a crash Bishop had, we jumped in the plane and flew around Utah for two hours, eventually ending up in Ogden where we landed and got off to plane to enjoy a nice lunch with Dana Beck and Becky.
Although she did not go to BYU, she is a Sun Devil at heart, I am trying to brainwash her into becoming a BYU fan. She understands that our children will be BYU fans and would never ever wear red. Ironically the friend that set us up went to the U! She is a great girl. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but she actually is! (Thanks again Bryn)
We eventually made it back to Salt Lake just to jump in the car and drive up to Park City, where we had just flown over. We did the rollercoaster and tried to do the alpine slide but got rained out.
While trying to do the alpine slide, we got rained out and got shoved into this little shack for an hour with tons of crazy kids. They all gave up after 20 min of rain, but we tried to wait it out. It was fun! This was Tamra being a trooper in the shack where many teenage kids have gotten high!
Then I actually took her shopping. I love you babe, but you know that this might be the only time in 20 years that I encourage you to go shopping :) After shopping I told her that we were going to meet up with my brother and his wife for dinner. In her mind she was thinking, oh man this day is going so well, he might propose today, BUT when I told her that we were meeting up with Matt and Charisse she was like, oh well crap, I guess not.... hahaha, little did she know they were just setting up the pimpest set up ever, full of romantic music, two dozen roses, a canopy to protect from the rain, all of her favorite foods, and I am sure there was other things too, oh yeah, ME!
There was a path of rose pedals and candles leading up to the blanket. On the blanket I had sparkling cider, Doritos, roses and more candles!
Now this next picture will make you think that this is where I went wrong, but actually strangely enough her favorite foods are Mac'N'Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Doritos, and baked potatoes. So that is what I got her. It wasn't "classy" but it was cheap. I spent the money that I saved on food, on her ring!
After we ate, I pulled out a list of the top traits that I wanted in my wife, written years ago on the mission. I read it to her, told her that she met every one of those except one, "has good manners"...she can burp with the best of them! hahaha. I told her that I was willing to overlook that fact and then got down on one knee after making her stand. I popped the question right then! and she said YES! (see evidence below)
So all in all, it was a good day. We are getting married at the end of October, either the 29th or 30th. Feel free to come to the reception in costumes as it is the weekend of Halloween.
