It is good to be home, but we miss our family already. This last week was busy for me but not so much for JD. I worked full time hours and set about getting settled back at home. JD had an on-campus interview for a firm in San Antonio so we will see if he gets a call-back interview (crossing our fingers). Besides that JD had some studying getting ready to start classes today. JD is so great about helping out at home when I work and I am very grateful. Cami is adjusting to being home. She is often gets her terrible two moments where she fights me about everything. It is a constant battle of wills, she doesn't want to get her diaper changed or wear clothes or eat her food or go down for naps or be strapped into the car or behave at the store....I can go on, but I think you get the point. I am grateful there are sweet moments too that make it all worth it. I love her infectious giggle that she doles out in large supply. I love her sweet smile with dimples and how she likes to come right up to me and put her nose on mine. I love her sweet little voice as she sings, and she has lately loved singing. She knows all the words to "I am a child of God" and "I love to see the Temple". She is learning how to ask please really sweetly and give me her biggest smile. I have no doubt she is a little spoiled as a result. This morning when I came home from jogging JD was changing her diaper and she said "wait I hear something" when I opened the door. She is so funny and keeps JD and I laughing. Although we are not officially beginning potty training we got her a little potty seat and she has gone quite a few times, but since she is still waking up pretty wet from naps and bedtime I am not ready to tackle that yet.
Friday we all went to the zoo. It was fun to go with JD since Cami and I go a lot with friends while he is at school.
