Getting back into the routine of life after our sweet vacation. We have taken advantage of family time and had a couple outings just around here. We went on a bike ride by Baylor and Saturday we drove down to Mother Neff State Park. Not much there and we got rained on, but we had fun hiking around and exploring. JD found Cami a bike and they went and she picked out this helmet, which she loves, and wears around the house often, sometimes even to breakfast.
This is a weird stage for us, similar to three years ago, after JD graduated from BYU before we came down here to go to Baylor. The big difference is the uncertainty about where we are going next. I am just trying to work as much as I can, which wasn't much last week with low census and being PRN, so I got put on call. Hopefully better luck this week! We have been hitting up the Y and the library to entertain us and keep us busy. JD doesn't find out his bar results till Nov 6th, so other than just a few applications, we will be doing a lot of waiting till then. I have committed to being happy where ever we end up. I am putting it in the Lord's hands and know that I can choose my attitude, I hope I can consistently choose faith and gratitude. We have been richly blessed in our lives and I know God has lead us this far, and He can still do so.

Our hike at Mother Neff park
Cami loved looking at the map. She thought we were supposed to be looking for the letters on the map...and they were supposed to bring us to a treasure...which turned out to be a "dinosaur rock" (that's what Cami called it).

Trying to get a picture of the rain.
From our bike ride to Baylor stadium. Cami was a trooper. Thats pretty much all we have been up to. Keep tuned for our future plans...we will share as we know!
