Earlier this month I showed these pictures with a challenge, so now is my turn to share what they inspired me to write.

I was frozen with fear

Stuck in the past

Then You reached down

and picked me up

You carried me

in Your loving embrace

Drying my tears

You told me that

I no longer needed to be afraid

because You are with me always

and Your love for me is eternal

I have no light of my own I only reflect the light from the One who gives me life For He is the Light Without Him I am only darkness but He chose to shine His light upon me Washing the darkness from me
