School pictures

 Here are the kiddos school pictures for the year

Steven is a Senior at Mountain Ridge High School (Crazy, I know. He may not have known it was picture day) 

Adam is a Sophomore at Providence Hall High School 

Audrey is in Mrs Daphne Miller's First Grade Class (Does it get any cuter than this?!) 

Drive up Butterfield

 Mike and I took the Surrons to the top of Butterfield and it was a lot more enjoyable than driving it. I might have fallen over once, but it wasn't bad. (Sport Mode is not my friend) They'd already closed Butterfield so we didn't have to worry about getting hit by cars. It was fun, and I think we'll make it a tradition. 

Random October

 I'm guessing Mike and Alex won some sort of Foosball tournament. A proud day for the Starley Family. ;)

Four months! I used to do the stickers, but now I let Mike do it. 

Halloween Happenings

 Mike is a million times more artistic than me, so he got the honor of decorating the pumpkins with Audrey. Halloween was all about K Pop Demon Hunters, and Mike's creations did not disappoint. 

I got to volunteer at the annual Trunk or Treat at the HS and Mike and Audrey were a big hit on the Surron. 

On Halloween Eve we attended our ward Halloween Party. We let Audrey choose our costumes this year, and she decided we were going to be scary. I was Chucky, Mike was the Scream ghost face and Audrey was the Grimm Reaper. 

I went to the mall on Halloween to grab something and I had a few people ask me if the stitches/scars were real since I wasn't wear my costume or wig. 

In the evening we bundled up and went trick or treating. It was COLD, but Audrey persevered for candy. 

Steven and his friends dressed as Teen Titan characters and hung out. Adam had a cool costume picked out, but decided not to wear it. 

Audrey's 7th Birthday and Last Lagoon post

Audrey turned the big 0-7 this year. Time really flies, and it's been a wonderful seven years with our little Princess. 

My parents came into town and Audrey wanted to bring her friend Ruth to Frightmares for her birthday, so we went one last time. (for the season, we'll obviously be back for more) 

Fall Break in San Diego

 We thought of going somewhere foreign for fall break, but decided to head back to San Diego. I was trying to decide if we'd stay in an AirBnB or hotel, and then I remembered that San Diego has a few naval bases. I discovered that the naval base on Coronado Island has beach cottages and we were super lucky and got one. It was perfect! It wasn't super warm, but Audrey didn't care. She was in bathing suit and on the beach as quickly as possible. Mike was the fun parent, and got in the ocean, and I made sure our stuff didn't get stolen on the beach. (In the secure military base, but still) 

We took an early flight, so we got to the cottage in the early afternoon. We went to the beach for a bit, and then went to the base bowling alley for food and fun. 

On Tuesday we headed back to Sea World. The first thing we did was visit the sucker fish. We stayed there for a bit and visited a couple more times during our day.
