Visiting 'Aulani

Tonight we went to see 'Aulani for Christmas. It had snowed quite a bit so we had to clear a path to her spot. Luckily, it's not too far from the road.

Her decorations are still there!

It took a while to light it, but it eventually went up

Here are some new things that happened this month with the kids

Emma:
- Says "favorite color" a lot
- Will raise her hand and say "Me!"
- Likes to pretend to be a puppy
- "Now what?"
- "Come on (guys)"
- asks A LOT "What are you doing?"
- all words are someone's name
- Whenever she refers to someone, they are a male, even if they are a girl

Both:
- They like to tell us to be "happy, mad, or sad"
- Like to pretend to be monkeys on our backs
- Will pretend to be frogs and hop around

Conner:
- Says "It's really tall!"
- "Yikes!"
- According to him, everything is giant
- says "yes" instead of yeah now

Christmas Day

Christmas was definitely a lot more fun this year than before. It's a lot funner when you have kids and they get so excited about everything.

The kids were so excited to see all of the Mr. Potato Head stuff that they got from Santa. It was pretty cute. After we looked at all of the stuff we had gotten from Santa, then we had our traditional red velvet pancake breakfast.

After breakfast then we opened our presents.

Emma got some princess lip gloss and she immediately had to put some on

I took the kids out one day to get Christmas presents from Eric and Emma chose this jump rope. She was pretty excited to play with it and it was dang cute to watch her try and jump.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve dinner we went to the Prairie Schooner for dinner. It was pretty good but it was a little expensive.

And then we went home after we ate and took our pictures in front of the tree

Then we were going to do the Christmas Story FHE but we figured the kids wouldn't hold still so we just watched the Nativity and another Christmas video and that was it. Then we opened our Spiritual Gifts and then the kids went to bed and Santa came after.
