End of semester fun!

Today we celebrate the end of anohter semester and I couldn't be happier!! First I had to catch up on some much needed sleep and then we went to the lake. We took Jamie and Brandon and they had a blast playing in the sand. There is a floating doc with a water slide on it but they were both a little to nervous to go down the slide. Jamie had fun jumping off the doc but Brandon wasn't quite sure about it. He didn't want to jump so Elijah had to slowly lower him into the water.

They were playing dolpins and they were stuck on the beach trying to get back to the water. So you can see them pushing themselves on their bellys all the way to the water. I was laughing so hard, epecially when Brandon would get to the bottome he didn't have the patience to get into the water. He would just run in as fast as he could.

 We talked Jamie into letting us bury her in the sand and then Brandon wanted to be burried. He was so excieted that he couldn't stop moving. I love the picture of him because he was just cheesing the entire time.

We Love D.C.

So this last winter we got the chance to go to Virginia for the semester because Elijah was doing one of his internships. We had so much fun spending time with family and we LOVED the weather.

Every spring in DC they have a cherry blossom festival and it was one of the things that I really wanted to see while we were there. It’s really beautiful because all the cherry trees are in bloom and if you haven’t been to DC there are a lot of cherry trees. It was kind of hard to get pictures without people in them because it gets really busy during the festival.  We also visited some other tourist attractions. 

We went to Arlington Cemetery but they were closing by the time we got there. Sadly we didn’t get to see any of the memorial statues. I want to go back next time were there and do a better tour.
