In this modern day and age of technology it pays to be extremely discerning about whom we listen to as Christians. I’ve been watching some people on youtube recently and have started praying more for discernment about what I’m watching. … Continue reading →

I’m not sure how many people are aware, but almost a year ago fb blocked me from being able to post from all of my pages. They did this once before and made me “verify” who I was. They are doing the same thing for the same reason this time, but this time I can’t “verify” myself. The only way they will let me do this is by giving them my phone number, and for (hopefully) obvious reasons I won’t be doing that. I don’t really want to start all over again on fb with a new account (and having to make new pages again), and I can’t find an avenue to appeal either, so I’m kind of stuck.
This is the only contact I now have with the ‘outside’ world for Eternity is Forever and I don’t have a lot of people who read this blog. I had around 5000 people on my page, but I have far less here, which is why I’m reaching out to whoever sees this post. I was hoping, that if the Lord leads, or if you think something on here is worth sharing, could you help me out and share on any social media you might be on? I will try to post here more often, so hopefully you will have new content to share around.
I appreciate those of you who do read this blog, and I hope that you will stick around and maybe take the time to comment and keep me updated with what’s going on out there where you are. Thank you and God bless. 🙂
This topic has come up in my walk again recently so I thought I would do some research and find out exactly what it means.Back when I was in a cult like group (which we called a “deliverance ministry”), we … Continue reading →
“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6
We are days away from the official start of winter here in Australia which means the sun is rising later and later each morning. I’m used to getting up when it is already light but my new job requires me to be a morning person, which really, I’m not 😂, and as a result I get up before the sun lights up my part of the earth.
I’m a person who loves to throw open the curtains in the morning to let the light in but I don’t do that now that it is still dark when I get up. I plod around getting myself ready for the day not really thinking too much about what’s going on outside except for somewhere in the back of my brain thinking it’s still dark and cold out there.
The other morning I was doing my morning stuff and for some reason I opened the blinds and it was getting light outside. That deep recess in the back of my mind thinking it was still dark got a little bit of a surprise at the sight. Which got me to thinking…
Sometimes we can focus so much on the darkness in the world that we forget about the light of God. I have recently been trying to correct someone who is doing that, seeing a de*on under every mat and behind every door and it’s hard getting through to someone whose main focus is the evil in the world. I am not trying to be mean here because I too have walked that path as a new Christian, I think that’s why I can see it so clearly in this other person. “Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:5
When I was first saved about 15 years ago I ended up at a friend’s home church group which actually morphed into a cult like group with all manner of weird things going on. We would do what we called “deliverance” on people and there was weird manifestations, plus each person was appointed either a prophet/evangelist etc by the female “apostle”. After a year or two I started to see the light (pardon the pun 😉 ) and I left. It wasn’t until I was well and truly out of the group that I could look back and see that what we were doing was unbiblical, unscriptural and was full of darkness as we were looking for, and finding, de*ons everywhere. I think the Lord allowed me to go through all that so I could develop discernment and try to warn others of deception, hence me doing this blog and facebook page go with it.
So, back to my little realisation.. During the last month or so, listening to the person talk about all kinds of konspiracies, agendas etc has really done my head in because it’s all they ever talk about. The scriptures are taken out of context to justify beliefs and no amount of reasoning has done any good, but in all this I have realised that I’ve also done this in the past. I was focusing way too much on what was going on in the world and I didn’t have any balance between that and Christ.
We are not meant to only study the things going on in the world and then find bible verses (usually out of context) to back that up, we are to study the word and the things going on in the world will be obvious to us, just as a person whose job it is to study money to be able to tell counterfeit from real. My takeaway from all this is that, yes, we need to be alert, sober and aware, but we also need to focus on reading the Word, not the world. How can we be shining the light of Christ in the darkness if we are swallowed up in the darkness ourselves?
I recently had a well meaning lady tell me that, in order to meet a husband, I had to ‘put it out there’. She then went on to tell me about the book/belief system called The Secret. Basically, what it is, is a belief that if you tell the universe what you want, it will come to you.
This lady then went on to explain that one day she was driving with her kids in the car and thought to herself that she’d hate to ever be a single mother. Then, she ended up divorced and a single mother. She believes that her thought caused it, therefore whatever we think becomes reality.
I don’t think I need to go into specifics about why this is just not true, and how it goes against the word of God.
By her reasoning, even though I always believed I’d be married with kids by 30 but ended up a never married single mother, I must have had a thought somewhere along the way that I’d be a single mother.
Or, I must have thought that I needed to be abused by my partner at the time. Or that I thought that I didn’t really want that first pregnancy. See, there are so many logical flaws with that way of thinking.
And what about the times that I thought I’d win lotto, or get a new house and didn’t? Kind of blows that theory out the window. It really doesn’t matter how much we think positively or negatively that something will or won’t happen, it all falls down to God’s sovereign will. By subscribing to that way of thinking you are taking away from God and His word and putting yourself and your thoughts above God.
Proverbs 16:33 says “The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.” This is like the rolling of the dice.. We may roll the dice, but God is in control of how they land. This is the same with our lives, we may make the choices, but ultimately it’s God who is in control of the outcomes, whether they be good or bad.
I’m not saying He causes bad to happen, but He allows both good and bad to happen in our lives in order to teach us many lessons. Some lessons are to teach us to rely on Him more, or to learn patience, or love for people who hate us (going through this one right now), or to just be still and trust Him.
If you do subscribe to that kind of belief system, I urge you to repent and turn back to God and His word as you are following doctrines of demons, which is actually the secret you aren’t being told. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” 1 Timothy 4:1
For some years now I’ve been urging people to prepare for what is to come. If the last 2 years has taught us anything, it’s that we need to be prepared for anything and everything. I won’t even mention the 🧻🧻🧻🧻 fiasco that was.. I can’t help but think that was some kind of psychological test?? I mean, toilet paper, really?
I have been trying to warn people through my page (and in person) that something was coming for nearly 10 years now, and, well, something definitely came. At times I’ve felt like the crazy person that was standing outside on the street corner with the sandwich board saying ‘the end is nigh’ written on it, but, here we are..
While we might not be in the midst of Armageddon, I believe we are right on the threshold of the biggest challenge in modern day Christianity. Just look at where everything is heading and it won’t take much to see that Revelation is playing out in front of our noses. The mark of the beast isn’t too far away, and we know that when that’s here, things are not going to be good for Christians. (This isn’t a post about the “rapture”, because I’ve not studied that enough to know all the finer points, so let’s not go there please, as that isn’t the point of this post.)
I am assuming that no Christian will take the mark as they will recognise it for what it is, and we are most definitely heading towards that with everything going digital. If you are unsure, think digital passports, not being able to travel previously without a certain injection which gave you a travel pass.. not being able to enter establisments without a certain injection.. not being able to keep our jobs without a certain injection.. hopefully you get the gist. This, I believe, is conditioning people to take the mark, because if they are threatened with having no job, that means they won’t have the means to pay mortgage/rent, buy food, clothing etc, and that will be enough to scare people into taking it. But this is where we need to trust God even more so, not man.
If we get to this point trusting God with our lives, but we get to the point where we are told we cannot buy or sell without a mark in our right hand or foreheads so we take it, we have not endured to the end. We have taken our trust away from God and put it in man. Wouldn’t that be just horrific, that we get so far with our faith, and then it stops. Don’t be deceived either, because there is no redemption for those who take the mark. We cannot take the mark, thereby worshiping the Beast system, and think that we will be forgiven. *Again, I just want to reiterate that there are different schools of thought on if Christians will be here when the mark arrives. I honestly don’t know if we will be or not, but I still need to warn regardless. If we are not here, but are aware of what’s going to happen, we can warn the unsaved beforehand.* “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:” Revelation 14:9,10
All this being said, I urge you dear believer, be prepared for what’s to come. I don’t know if your preparation will be to store food and water, have alternative housing away from where you are now, if you should buy land and grow your own food, learn alternative/natural medicines etc, but either way, I think we need to be seeking the Lord’s will on what we need to be doing, and we need to be praying for all believers to be prepared for whatever may come, and for the boldness & opportunities to warn unbelievers.
Here in Australia it is Winter and it has been getting quite cold in the wee hours, cold enough to have to wear socks to bed! 😀 I know that is nothing compared to some places around the world in Winter, even some places in Summer. I’ve been to a ski resort where the temperature read -9C, but I honestly don’t remember it being cold because we were too busy skiing and having fun to notice the chill. (Although the snow that sometimes got through the holes in my gloves told me that it was cold. haha)
So, back to my dog.. The other day I decided to put her jacket on as it was very cold, so I went and got her and started to put it on. The front legs going through the holes were fine and easy, but trying to do the zip up from underneath was a pain. She wouldn’t sit still for me to do the zip and I was getting frustrated with her trying to move, and her squirming, or trying to put her paw on my arm etc. She was making it almost impossible for me to do what I needed to do in order to make sure she was warm and comfortable. She was getting in my way, so in a firm voice I said “BE STILL”. It really didn’t work, surprise, surprise, but oh how the Lord used that moment of me chastising my dog to speak to me!
How often do we squirm and wriggle through the hard parts or seasons of life and forget that God tells us to ‘be still’ and to trust Him? How often do we get in God’s way by resisting the temptation to step in and allow Him to work all things together in His perfect timing? How many times do we hamper God’s efforts by trying to do things ourselves, and failing? If you are anything like me it will be nearly all. the. time!
As an aside, I was involved in a conversation on a ‘Christian’ fb page and the topic was creation. The person who posted asked a question along the lines of ‘for those professing Christians who believe God used the “big bang”, where did the matter come from to cause the ‘big bang’? A rather lengthy conversation ensued, and a lot of people used scripture while a lot of people used reasoning, and reasoning by way of questioning (questioning the length of time it took God to created and how could there be light before the sun {easy questions to answer if you ask me, but they seemed intent on not taking God’s word for, well, God’s word} ). Me being me I couldn’t help but add my 11c worth. 😉 I shared some verses and went back and forth for a while until it basically all just phased out. In the day or so since the conversation I have ‘coincidentally’ seen, or remembered verses related to the topic, so I went back to the page today to add a bit extra. One last verse came to mind as I was writing my last comment, which I was also aiming at myself as well, was Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” I know that God has a sense of humour, because I just went to check the verse of the day on the Bible website I use and Heb 11:6 is the verse of the day. He is definitely trying to let me know that He is listening to me and to trust Him, to be still and know that He is God.
I am so thankful for His grace and mercy. He knew before He even created the world that we would still sin and be in need of His grace. He knew the struggles we would face in this world and the grace we would need to trudge through them, hence my using the photo with the verse that I did.
Gracious Heavenly Father, I come to you and ask that you would give me, and everyone who reads this, the grace to weather the storms of life. Help us to be still and leave our worries and troubles in your capable hands. Lord, we know that without faith it is impossible to please you, so please fill us with more faith, grow our mustard seed of faith into the kind of faith that trusts you with all our heart and leans not on our own understanding. Thank You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
If this little ‘devotional’ resonates with you in any way, please leave a comment below. Facebook has stopped me posting from my EiF page so this is my contact with you all in the outside world at the moment. haha Also, please feel free to share this if you think someone will be blessed by it. God bless. 🙂
I was talking to someone at work recently about things like unicorns in the Bible, and she said to me that she doesn’t believe in God. She then said that she believes in science and the “big bang”. I asked her where all the elements to form the big bang came from but she didn’t really have an answer. (I have asked several people that same question and they couldn’t really answer either.)
Fast forward to now and I was just reading something when that question came to my mind, and so immediately did an answer. The ‘big bang’ and evolution go directly against God’s word, so why would God have used the big bang to create the universe? In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Secondly He created light. Then He created a firmament. How did He create those things? Let’s have a look – Genesis 1:3,6 states “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. & And God said, Let there be a firmament…” God spoke those things into existence. Nowhere does it say that God used anything other than His own voice to create anything – there isn’t even a hint of any ‘big bang’ in any of those statements, nor, from my understanding, does the Bible even mention anything about a big bang let alone God using one.
If you believe that the chaotic, out of order process of the big bang came first and everything was created in and through that, where was God when this happened? Did He allow something that was out of His control? Did He allow disorder and chaos to cause something to happen over millions, or even billions of years, that He called “good” remembering that God is the God of peace and not confusion. (Now, I know disorder, confusion and chaos, I have children, and disorder, confusion and chaos aren’t “good”!! )
Another thing to think of is that the big bang pushes the theory of evolution, which also goes directly against God’s word. Let’s look at how the Bible says man was formed/created. Genesis 2:7,8 says “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”
So, you either believe God’s word that He formed a human from dust and gave him life, or you believe that humans were formed over billions of years from 1 tiny atom, to a molecule, to some kind of living, breathing creature, which then mutated and changed into another species, which, again, then mutated and changed into another species, and on and on until we were here. (Also remembering that it is scientifically proven that life can only come from life and that mutations do not add to the genetics but detract from them.) How did these ‘beings’ of no description survive in the transitional stages without eyes, noses, intestinal tracts, filtration systems, digestive juices, waste outlets, skin, muscles, bones, lungs etc? Which organ or part came first and could that creature have survived without several of them at the one time?
Next think about procreation. Not only would you have to believe that this happened ONCE randomly by mutation from one atom, to goo to human, but it also had to make a gender in there somewhere. Let’s say it was a man. How did he reproduce? Did he have the inner workings to be able to fertilise himself and not only carry an offspring but give birth to it and then feed it? Or did evolution realise that it needed a female, so these mutations from atoms cause another human being to form from goo to human, but made it a female? Then you need to add to that every single plant that has ever lived, every single tree, food (nuts, berries, herbs, fruit, vegetables, grains), bird, animal, human, sun, clouds, moon, tides, water cycle, etc has come from that first bang..
As I’m typing this up, this verse comes to mind – “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 I can’t help but in my mind to change the word here “serve” to ‘believe’ for these examples above – ‘as for me and my house, we will believe the LORD’.
If I’m honest with you, it takes more faith to believe that than it does to believe that God’s word says what it means, and means what it says, when it says that ‘In the beginning, God created..’ Why is it so hard for professing Christians to believe that God created? How are we meant to witness to the unbelieving if we ourselves don’t believe? You will also find that there are many in the Church who believe that creation is a “side issue”, not one of importance to salvation, but I question that. If a person is truly saved and born again with God’s Holy Spirit, will they continue to believe the lies or will they be led into all truth as John 16:13 seems to say? Please don’t get me wrong here though, I believe a person can still be saved and believe error, but through the journey the Holy Spirit of God will lead them into the truth. All people have different journeys and will learn things at different times. Two of the first major things I learnt about in my journey were witchcraft and rock music, possibly because they were 2 defining influences in my life and had to go right away. Another one was drugs. That was one of the first things I gave up as well. I don’t believe creation is a “side issue” because it isn’t. If you don’t believe what God says in His word right from the beginning, and you question it, that leaves the door open for the unbelieving to doubt as well. If Christians find it so hard to believe, is it any wonder that the world doesn’t believe?
Then there’s another ‘outbreak’ and clampdowns are implemented right away, along with those rigid restrictions, plus more. You now must check in with a QR code app to any place you go to, such as the supermarket, service station, cafe, gym, funeral home, furniture store etc etc. Everywhere. It has now become mandatory to do this. Again people are being encouraged to wear masks, and sometimes it is mandatory if you want to leave your home, even if you are driving in your own car with more than 1 person. (Never mind that it might be a family member whom you live with..) Your gov then decides that the only way “back to normal” is to introduce a concoction to be administered into people’s bodies, you know, to keep everyone safe. (At the time of writing this, these concoctions have not been approved as safe and studies are ongoing, but they have been rushed through under some kind of emergency legislation.)
These concoctions are going to help the world get back to normal we are told. They are safe and effective at stopping the spread we are told. (In actual fact, from my understanding on everything that I’ve read, just like any other vakseen*, they do not prevent the spread, they simply lessen the symptoms so that you don’t get as sick as you could.)
The first people who are to get the jab are the “frontline” workers such as nurses, doctors, police, paramedics etc. Anyone who works in an industry where they are likely to come into contact with many people with Sharona need to be first up. Which makes perfect sense.
I read recently that Australia’s PM first said that this vakseen would be mandatory, but someone who knows the Constitution and laws better than him pointed out that it’s illegal to force citizens to undergo medical treatment without their consent. (A jab is considered medical treatment.) He back-tracked on his statement and said that it will not become mandatory in Australia.
Recent news articles, which, at the time of writing, are not allowed on facebook, state that when the roll out happens we will then get a certificate of proof of vakseen. We have also heard in the news that travel overseas, and possibly within our own countries, will not be allowed unless we take the jab. There have also been news reports about facial recognition technology being used to track and trace people in order to help stop the spread. By now you should be starting to question a few things.. and you may possibly wonder where this will go down the track.
Imagine you get to work one day, say you work as a children’s health nurse, and your boss tells you that you really do need to get the jab. It’s very important, they say, because we need to stop the spread. You know that if you don’t get it you may not be able to work. What do you do? You decide to get the jab because the gov says it is safe and effective, and you trust them and the drs that say it’s ok, and you want to keep everyone around you safe, because you’ve been told that if you get the jab you are protecting those around you.
Now imagine you are currently out of work and you are surviving off gov benefits/welfare. You get a letter saying that you are eligible for the free vakseen. The letter also states that your benefits will be affected should you choose to not get it. Let’s say that your benefits are reduced by a quarter – so for example, someone living on $400 a week will only get $300 a week should they choose not to get it. A couple of months goes by and you get another letter reminding you that you are eligible for the free jab. Again, should you choose not to get it, your benefits will be affected. This time they say that you will be cut off until you get the jab. You have rent to pay, children to feed, bills to pay, and your car is broken down. What do you do? You make the decision to get the jab because you need money to survive.
Imagine you want to go travelling as it has always been your dream. You want to go to so many amazing places in the world, but you can only go if you have a little certificate that states you’ve had the Sharona Virus vakseen. What do you do? You get it because you want to see the world.
Imagine that you weren’t too keen on this kind of ‘medical’ treatment and didn’t want to get that concoction injected into your system.
Now imagine a world where you couldn’t travel, work or receive welfare, or see a Dr or dentist, or go shopping, or drive a car, or pay your bills, go to the movies, go to the circus, go to a cafe, live in a house or feed your family if you didn’t get a jab. What do you do?
Here is a quote from the JPost about its “green passport program”: “A green passport will be required to enter certain places and to participate in certain activities. Only people who have been vaccinated or have recovered from coronavirus will be eligible for one. … When you arrive at a store or other places of business, you will be asked to present your green passport. The printout can be presented for scanning, or the app can be opened and the digital confirmation presented. You will be asked to present your ID card, too.” ~ Health Minister Yuli Edelstein And one from the New York Times from the same health minister: ““Getting vaccinated is a moral duty. It is part of our mutual responsibility,” said the health minister, Yuli Edelstein. He also has a new mantra: “Whoever does not get vaccinated will be left behind.”
Well, according to God’s word, a time like that will come, and it is my opinion that this current worldwide “pandemic” is conditioning people to accept it. Am I saying that this jab is the mark of the beast? No, I’m not. Am I saying that this jab has a microchip in it? No, I’m not. Am I saying that the ingredients, the efficacy, the research, the information we are being told is questionable at best and downright dangerous at worst? Yes, I am. (And yes, I have read the ingredients and researched some of them, and I don’t particularly like them.) I also don’t like the fact that, according to Dr Sherri Tenpenny, the Corona virus family has been around for at least 60 years and that they’ve been trying to invent a vaccine for 20 years and still hadn’t been able to. It is also the cause of 40% of influenza cases in the US each year, so it’s not a new thing.
Yes, people can react differently to different viruses or diseases. Yes, immuno-compromised people need to be careful. But if we think critically we can see that the influenza viruses have never disappeared and stopped spreading because of flu jabs. Neither have any other viruses disappeared. One in particular in fact has simply had its name changed and diagnostic criteria changed! (Will find info when I get a chance.)
So my reason for this post is to get you all thinking about what is being pushed on us. Read God’s word and see what it says. Seek the Lord. Ask Him what He wants you to do. It may just be a jab of a chemical concoction now, but next it could very well be a mark. “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. >>And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<< Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Revelation 13:15-18 (My emphasis added.)
What will you do?
If you liked these posts you can find me on facebook. I post about a lot of different things, and there is a great community of believers there. 🙂
All of a sudden there is worldwide panic because a bad disease has gotten into the community in one particular country and is spreading – let’s call this disease ‘SharonaVirus’ or ‘Sharona’ for short. Not too long after this it has spread to more countries via travellers. In a little while it is seemingly everywhere and then it is labelled a “pandemic”. The media reports that many thousands are dying from ‘Sharona’ and they are mostly elderly, or they are people with underlying health issues that compromise their immune system.
Sharona has now spread to countries in both hemispheres via travellers who then spread it in their suburbs and towns, because it is highly contagious. Once the gov realises what is happening they shut down the country and everyone has to stay indoors for 2 weeks in order to keep Sharona at bay. We are all told to sanitise, wash hands, sanitize, wash hands.. Because people have seen on the media that this virus is deadly, they do as they are told. They don’t want to catch it and die. Fair enough. People start to panic when the first clampdown happens, which causes a worldwide shortage of toilet paper. (Well, we were told to be hygienic!) Shelves are stripped bare of canned goods, tissues, soap, hand sanitiser, meats and long life milk. People go out and buy new freezers to store their meat in. The elderly and poor people struggle because they can’t stock up. Animal food disappears from the shelves. I had just had to get my cat put down, so thankfully I didn’t have to worry about her not having any food, because there wasn’t a lot around. But we do have dogs.) In many country towns in Australia, organised, targeted ‘raids’ were done by people from the cities, and we were told many were Chinese, but I can’t verify that. They hired mini buses and came out in force and stripped the small supermarkets bare, which meant that locals missed out. With some small towns only getting a food deliver truck once a week, if that, it was disastrous.
Then the two weeks is up but in that time many laws have been passed that are designed to keep citizens ‘safe’. Those laws mean that if you aren’t an “essential service” such as a dr, farm worker, truck driver, food business, supermarket, liquor store etc etc, you can still work, but people aren’t allowed to be in your premises for long and then must go straight home afterwards. (I still don’t see how a store that sells alcohol is an “essential”, but that could just be me..)
Everyone must sanitise themselves religiously and stay home if they feel unwell. (I thought staying home if you were ill was just common sense, but again, that could just be me.) We are encouraged to wear gloves and face masks in order to try not to catch Sharona. (But as soon as you touch something with your gloves then touch your purse/phone/wallet etc you have potentially transferred viral droplets, then you take your gloves off and touch those items at home & you have potentially infected yourself, thus the mask and gloves were pointless. But that could just be me.)
After some months life slowly starts to begin to return to normal and all outlets are able to open up again without so many rigid restrictions. People feel safe again and weddings can happen again, funerals can happen again, parties, work, fun, beach, church can happen again. Life is getting better.
He had the best pastor. He had the best role model. He had the best counsellor. He had the best preaching. He had the wisest instruction. He had the most thorough discipling. He had the greatest opportunities, but he failed. Why? The problem wasn’t the church he joined or his pastor. It was his attitude and character. The covetousness of his heart betrayed the Saviour so he could buy himself a piece of land. So it is in our day. If a man’s heart is not changed, if he has not truly repented of his sins and fled to Christ in simple childlike faith he will still fail.
