  • A home I yearn for

    Daily writing prompt
    Write about your dream home.

The beauty of nature has always beckoned me forth. I’ve never longed for a mansion with vast, open spaces, or even a studio in a high rise apartment building in a busy metropolis. No. For as long as I can remember, I’ve yearned for a simple life, a quaint cottage in the country where I could raise my animals, and enjoy my loved one’s company while basking in the gorgeous views surrounding us.

  • Heart

“In my most fond memories, you are at the heart,

There’ll never be a day that passes, where I wish we were apart,

Decades have passed, yet our bond remains unshakeable,

We’ll always be family, a love like ours is unbreakable.”

This poem has four verses, and an aabb rhyme scheme.

Today, I’ll leave you with this quote:

“The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.” – Richard Bach
