Temple Square Lights

We took the annual trip to see the lights at Temple Square. It was beautiful as always. It always impresses me that even though people get so grumpy other places during Christmas, everyone at Temple Square is smiling and happy.

Christmas Day

Our neighbors gave people in the neighborhood luminaries to light up the night on Christmas Eve. It was a very rainy, snowy, windy night, so the luminaries stayed on the front stoop.  Nicole and Zack made designs on the bags to add some personality.

 CHRISTMAS MORNING
Image
We had a white Christmas. After an hour of church with music and the Christmas story, we came home, got comfortable, and opened presents. Zack was cold due to the snow and was warming himself by the fire.

After Zack gave his Homecoming talk, a lot of friends and family came by for some muffins and bagels afterwards.

We got a new Christmas tree this year. The lights on the old tree were mostly burned out. Since we had helpers, we set up the tree and they helped fluff the branches.

Tyler's birthday was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so we made him a sports' cake. Becca and Nicole were happy to help decorate the different sections.
