March for Babies!

Guess what? I'm the Team Captain of Team Wally and Liz in the March of Dimes' March for Babies. I will be walking on May 5, 2012.

Over the past two years I've tried to find some way to keep Wally and Liz's memory alive and do something positive as well. There are organizations that help grieving families, but that just never seemed to fit. Then I had my "duh, Kate" moment. Helping grieving families is wonderful, but I want to do something else. Something more. I want to make those organizations unnecessary. I want to help all families have healthy "take-home" babies!

We had a lovely Christmas, and I hope you did as well. This wasn't Griffin's first Christmas, obviously, but it was the first he was awake for! He certainly is spoiled. Santa brought him an activity cube. Grandma gave him the Little People Farm and Noah's Ark. He also just about doubled his library. He had a lot of fun and tuckered himself out as any little boy on Christmas should.

That's all for now. I recently had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists, so typing is still difficult. I will update more as I am able to type longer.
