Then of course was Turner's birthday. He turned 5 years old and had been waiting for this day forever.  He kept waiting to turn the calendar so that it was closer to his birthday.  We went down to  my mom and dad's over the weekend and we celebrated it there with some cousins. We had a Chase pinata, lots of candy, and some PAW Patrol cupcakes.  We had a lot of fun hanging out with the cousins and Grammy and Papa.

Turner had his preschool  Corn maze day. Boone and I got to join him and we had lots of fun. I love these two little boys and I'm so so thankful that  I get to spend time with them. They have so much fun .  Little Turner gets so excited about life and so happy about everything. The other night likes and I hope he never loses that excitement !

So Turners actual birthday the 16th, we checked the boys out of school and went down to Salt Lake because Boone had one of his chemo treatments. We got a hotel that Monday night and let the boys go swimming and then that morning we took Boone to his appointmen.  He had a echocardiogram on his heart and we were worried how he would do with that cuz the last ultrasounds he did he freaked out. He cried quite a bit and was kind of fussy but a lot better than he did last time. We laughed because the doctor said everything looked really great on his report except he said he was concerned about the last point and on the paper it said crying and uncooperative patient. So we got that chemo and Echo done and he's been doing really good. We then took the boys to the orthodontist real quick and then for Turner's birthday we went out and celebrated and took the boys to Hogle Zoo for Turner's birthday!
This was #12 chemo and he has only 3 left to go!!! Yeah!!

We went to the pumpkin patch with the majors for family night. We are so thankful
For such great friends as sherese and Eric. It has been like they are ones that we do before and would say we're going to be friends someday they have been amazing examples to us selfless service and doing good for people everywhere. They have done so much for us that we can't even really say how much.

We had the ward Trunk or Treat night and it turned out great I had fun making some new costumes for the boys. Sometimes I wonder why I do it but sometimes I find the challenge in making what they want to be. We had a great time being together there with the family with all the ward families.

Will had his 13th birthday. We celebrated by taking him out to Hideout because he wanted steak. Then on his birthday we made him do his Saturday chores 😔 and Dad and the boys raked leaves. We had crazy cake and him and Dixon and the boys were able to watch the BYU game that night.

Fast and Furious February!

Time is getting away from me quickly - so I need to catch up quickly! February went fast.  The boys had a great time making their own valentines boxes.

Will and I went on our official 1st date night!!  It was AWESOME!  Mike has been able to go on a date night each of them and we can totally testify that it is a blessing.  To be able to be with one of them one-on-one and just listen to them and talk to them is so GREAT!  Will actually made his reading goal and so he got two tickets to the SUU Basketball game and wanted to take me!!! It was a lot of fun.

Dixon lost his first tooth!!!!  He also wanted to show off his muscles I guess!!

Will had another pinewood derby.  This year he made a diesel truck.  He was pretty excited about it.  It is funny, being in three different wards now, and seeing how different the derbys can be.  Let's just say this one was a little more relaxed, but it was a lot of fun and that is what matters.

We were so excited!!  The Cluffs came to see us - after all these years of trying to get them to come visit us, I guess we finally moved close enough.  On their way to Sam's soccer tournament in Vegas they stopped by and Russ and Luke got to stay and the tournament ended a little earlier so they stayed for a couple days more.  It was a ton of fun and the boys loved every minute.  We did some boulder climbing at Three Peaks, watched movies, and had big slumber parties!!!

On the 24th of January we celebrated our 11th Anniversary!!  And it was a memorable one!  We took the boys up to my mom's and went and saw a friend at the Hunstman Cancer Institute and then headed our to our destination that night - Roosevelt, Utah.  Yep!  Really romantic! We actually were going up to there to check out a clinic that Mike was interested in.  So after a romantic dinner of Arby's take-out none the less we head up Heber Canynon.  Well, somewhere along the way we hit a rock that put a hole in our transmission pan and it was leaked out to say the least.  So, an hour and a half wait, an hour tow along with fee, and getting in around midnight was a great start!!!  Luckily, we were being watched out for, #1 - we had no kids, so they didn't have to wait for the tow and we could spend some quality time - right!  #2 - the Duncan's know a lot of people in Roosevelt and they were SO good to us, picked us up, arranged for a tow to the dealer and got someone in there to patch us up and at least get us back on the road!
Ahh!!!!  Married life for 11 years . . . . bliss!!!
