WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS?    I’m REALLY hoping it’s heeded…REALLY hoping.

Growing up with the L.A. Times, I well remember the EDITORIAL PAGE which had two long vertical columns, one on the left side of the page, and one on the right side of the same page….with other information between.  The left side was the LEFTIST OPINION…the right side, the RIGHT side………..It was excellent.  You could see two opinions.  Both fair, both informative.   I was young and not too political at all, but I do remember this and I liked to glance at it.   It’s been gone for years.

The LA Times is a joke now.  Though I wouldn’t pay for it, I’m very sure about that because the crossword puzzles are in the same section as the comics and a neighbor supplies me with the crossword puzzles from the week every Sunday night so I see the COMICS, too…there are two I rather like!  But the rest, those with any kind of ‘cultural’ bent, are LEFTWING. ANTI TRUMP.   It’s unbelievable. Well, it SHOULD be unbelievable!

I usually don’t like telling our media what they should or shouldn’t print but THE LINKED ARTICLE ABOVE REALLY MAKES SENSE AND I HOPE THIS HAPPENS.

I believe a LOT of the bias came with, or soon after, giving every ‘journalist’ a byline. EVERYBODY now had to give his opinion, now that their name was attached.  I could be wrong about that, but that’s the feeling I’ve had.

DO YOU THINK THIS MIGHT WORK…?   DO YOU THINK WE MIGHT ACTUALLY GET A FAIR MEDIA BY FORCING THEM TO?

So now we may have American soldiers going to be ‘boots on the ground’….so how can I not ask for prayers for them?   And are we over our heads? 

It all seems to be getting out of hand, like what’s happening wasn’t remotely anticipated, and I’d have thought our Pentagon is pretty darned good at seeing ahead, knowing what to anticipate from each country in case we had to go in………?  Did we underestimate Iran?

On the other hand, we see glimpses of progress and that’s what we have to HOLD ON TO! …and pray for.

What are you instincts about this whole thing?   I’d love to hear…Anyway, hoping most of us pray about this….it’s all we can do.   Not a bad ‘all,’ I guess!

Ya, ya, yaaa…it’s not politics, it’s not really anything but HAPPINESS and PRIDE and GOODNESS so I HAD to share it with my GeeeZers!!!

ISN’T THIS GREAT?  To me, this is America at her best………….My German husband used to say he was always so surprised by the goodness of Americans….I often heard him say things like…..“In Germany, we don’t send a casserole to the family down the street who lost a loved one..”  “In Germany, we don’t……….”  But AMERICA DOES! (he LOVED America)!

We need to remember this.   ….even at times like these, when things seem SO tough……..

We are a GOOD PEOPLE.……..maybe that’s just another reason to deport those not as good?  To not ALLOW those in who aren’t as good?  ?   Am I suggesting only Americans are good people? NO, but……….as a group………….????

THIS IS SO TRUE I HAD TO SHARE IT.

What I’ve said since the 9/11 attacks is “What do you have to do to get respect around here, KILL 3000 AMERICANS?”

And that’s how I’ve felt since 9/11.   We can barely say the word Muslim without being accused of Islamaphobia!

Islam clearly figured that we Americans, so KIND, so afraid of being thought of as not being welcoming, so afraid …. would bend over backwards to not only accommodate but overlook OUR culture to pander to theirs in OUR country.   Was it because “God forbid we think ALL Muslims are terrorists!!!” ?  We have cities with more Muslims than Jews or Christians now!  We have crimes being committed, more and more, by Muslims.

More SUICIDAL EMPATHY by we KIND (liberal) AMERICANS….

Fascinating to me is Trump’s ‘friendships’ with Xi and Putin.  That link really blew my mind!   Trump LOVES friends and believes China’s Xi is a friend!   I don’t.

Calls with Putin and Trump always seem to be “Good” and I can only wonder.  A few months ago, when Ukraine was hot in the news for a few weeks, every time Trump’s people were talking peace with Zelensky, etc., Putin would bomb that night.   Some good friend; Might Putin benefit greatly from the Iran war?

Xi and Putin are probably the two worst friends America’s had, at least that’s MY take. 

What’s YOUR TAKE on these friendships?  We all see Trump loves a buddy!  He often mentions how this or that person is a ‘friend’ and who doesn’t like friends?   But is this DIPLOMACY, or does he really feel this even though we usually hear pretty awful things about China and Russia and their ‘friendships’ with the United States of America!?  I’m a BIG RESPECTER OF DIPLOMACY, of saying or doing things that make it APPEAR we’re going in one direction when we’re really protecting OURSELVES…..but wouldn’t Putin and Xi see through things like that?

I’m hoping I’m wrong and they ARE FRIENDS and have shown it!  Maybe I just didn’t see it?     DO YOU?

Will we EVER rid ourselves of this thinking that’s so prevalent in the Democrats?     So eager to show Americans their superiority, with a media so eager to support it…

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY THE GOALS OF CONSERVATIVES ARE?

IRAN is brilliant.…what MORE could they  DO to TICK AMERICANS OF ALL POLITICAL BENTS OFF?

Here is what goes through the heads of most Americans; (as if I knew that for sure?!)

“I thought we were making headway!”

“THIS is what we lost Americans over?”

“I thought Iranians were less ideological than THIS!”

“WHY did Trump DO this?”

“What have we gained?”

“NOW WHAT?”

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I think and HOPE that IRAN KEEPS UP THE BOMBINGS OF SUNNI COUNTRIES…!!  I say KEEP IT UP, IRAN!…BRING ON THE RETALIATION!  YOU PAY FOR IT!…… Let other Muslim countries fight this battle!

HOW DO YOU THINK THIS IRAN SITUATION WILL END?

For Example:

Will Western Europeans get involved in any way?

Will we run out of bombs, etc?

What could make Russia stop helping the Iranian regime?

Will we pay for apparently killing many children in that school?

Will Kurdish boots go into Iran?

Will American boots go in?

Can we afford this in the long run?

Will there be a long run?

Could there ever be real peace in the Middle East?

Was it smart for Iran to start hitting Sunni Muslim countries?

SO SO SO many questions we could be asked:

WHAT DO YOU THINK?   WILL IT BE LOOKED AT AS A REALLY GOOD THING?
