The underlying scope of history is in-depth/vast. History is the study of man in totality to his behaviourial sense.

History which was only limited to a local saga has during the course of time become universal history of mankind depicting man’s achievements in every field of life, political, cultural, sciencetific, social, economic, religious, artistic and technological.

History starts with the past, makes present into sheet anchor and points to the future . Events like wars, rise and falls of empires and their builders as well as the masses are the subject matter of history. History has become an embracing comprehensive subject with artistic limitless extent.

History is a comprehensive concept and includes the history of science, history of atom, history of geography, history of science, history of philosophy, archeology, history of eduation, biology, and history of medicine.

History in our modern contemporary world has advanced beyond the antiquarion and leisure time pursuit to Avery useful, efficient and indispensable part of man’s education. History is more scientific and more comprehensive and it has expanded in all directions.

The modern history does not contain only the history (deeds, achievements,failures) of Kings and queens, battles and generals, empires and emperors heroes and heroines, but the history of the common man, his house and clothing, his cultivations/fields, his continuous and unending efforts to protect him home and hearth, his aspirations, his achievements, failures, his disappointments and defeats and his quest for a just government.

History has become a future oriented study in relation to contemporary problems. It ha also assumed the role of human science in the world today. History is not concerned with only the individual only but the communities/societies are the subject in the extensive study of history.

Historyis the study of life in a society/community in the past , in all its aspects and en-devours in relation to the present developments, advancements and future hopes.

History is benovelently considered to the mother queen of all disciplines and social sciences. It is an indespensable subject in the complete enlightenment and education of man which deals with the analysis and interpretation of mans past thereby enabling us to study continuity and changes that are taking place over time.

History is an act of critical and thorough investigation that seeks to understand and explain how people have interpreted, re interpreted and revisited the past.

It is the study of the present in t he light of the past.

History is life it is everything. without historian wouldn’t have been where he is now. Due to the history of rise and fall of kingdoms and empires, Kings and queens, heroes and heroines people have learnt to take caution not to make mistakes made by thes legends
