Happy Thanksgiving

Katie and Joby are getting married Thanksgiving weekend.
We are happy to have Joby join the McBride clan.
He is a really great guy!

When I first saw this picture at Grandpa and Grandma's home I loved it.
Jeanette said she purchased it many years ago at a local dime store.
Needless to say, I was very excited when I found this one at a Yard Sale!
It is a good reminder to have gratitude in all things.

Sealed for time and eternity!

On Sat. Sept 18, 2010 Edyn Elijah Snapp was sealed to her parents Terry and Kristi. Her 5 brothers and 2 sisters were able to witness the occasion along with many other family members and friends. All dressed in white they looked, and acted like perfect angels. A big family, full of love!

INTRODUCING SAMANTHA MELANI BATES!

After a Long day of Labor and a C-section my girl finally came on October 18th at 11:45pm. She was 7lbs 14 ounces and 21 inches long. Man it's amazing the love we have for her!

Hi family!! I wanted to update everyone on my current living status. Although I was recently searching for homes with a realtor, Chris and I have decided it's better for us to move in with his parents for a while to save up some more money for the down payment and to be ready for the general expenditures that come with owning a house. So, effective this weekend, my new address will be:

Wish us luck! This is the best way to save up money out East, since my rent was going to become $200 more per month upon renewal. I am so grateful for Chris's parents giving us this opportunity. We will be able to save a lot of money in a short period of time, and have the satisfaction of not owing someone else for the down payment once we find a place we love.

It's official! IT'S GIRL!! I can't wait to doll her up!!

New member of the church!

On Sat. May 29th Ethan Jinbae Bang was baptized into the church in Livonia, MI. He was baptized and confirmed by his father Puyol. Two grandfathers and three Uncles joined him in the circle. His sister Nicole gave the talk on baptism and Uncle Curtis Busby gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. Whitney and Tyler played a violin and cello duet, "A Child's Prayer" and Whitney also played another beautiful classical piece on the violin. It was a special family event and all present felt the spirit. Congratulations Ethan, we are proud of you for choosing to be baptised. It is the right thing to do!

It's a baby girl!

Terry and Kristi Snapp welcomed into their family little Edyn Aliyah Snapp born on March 12, 2010. Her five brothers and two sisters are very happy to have her in their family. There are lots of arms to hold her and lots of hearts to love her. She is pictured on the quilt her grandmother Snapp made for her. Welcome Edyn!

The McBrides View the Blog

On Sunday, Jan. 31 of 2010 the Snapps visited the McBrides at Barton Creek. Using Steve's computer, Dad and Jeanette were able to see the Go McBride family blog. They were very interested and touched at the postings that had been made over the past couple of years. Dad was able to see and help read the post by Bruce on Fathers and Sons. His comment: "That was real nice!".

I have news!

We our pregnant!! Me and J are sooo excited!! I'm 13 weeks and feeling sick, but it's ok because I have Zofran! That medicine has saved me! The picture is when I was 9 weeks. Isn't that little precious cute! Can't wait! Wish us luck!

Newest Church Member in the Family

Katherine Patricia Stone turned eight years old on Thanksgiving Day 2009. We gathered around the table at the Snapp's home with 18 people and our table was set with the sterling silver that belonged to Katherine's great great grandmother Stella Schofield. It looked beautiful. We had birthday cake for dessert!

On the following Saturday Katherine was baptized! Her dad, Aaron performed the baptism. Grandpa Steve Snapp gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and Whitney and Tyler Bang played a violin, cello duet "A Child's Prayer". It was a beautiful performance and Tyler's first public performance. Katherine's dressmaker was Grandma Snapp and her hairdresser was Aunt Melanie! Guests pictured at her baptism include, in addition to her brothers and sister, the Bang family and Grandma and Grandpa Snapp and Grandma and Grandpa Stone and her Aunt Melissa.
