The day before school started Hailey was pretty nervous. She was in tears at one point asking if she could stay in Kindergarten forever. After we had a painted a picture of what her days as a first grader were going to look like, she began to calm down. She woke up the morning of SO excited she could hardly contain herself. The first thing Harper said when she woke up was "It's Hailey's Birthday"....we realized she meant "first day" and after a few minutes of walking around pouting, Harper was just as excited for her big sis. Harper wanted to go to "pretend" school too, so she joined Hailey at the bus stop with her back pack. She greeted Hailey at the bus after school with lots of hugs and "I love you, your are my best friend". Hailey came home happy as can be and had already made two new friends. We couldn't be more proud of the little lady she is becoming.
