Sunday Funday

Despite the criminal heat of 100 degrees in Ladera, we still made it outside for a brief time in the evening.

Luke helped out our neighbor Lauren with a dead rabbit under her BBQ.

She brought out yummy cream puffs that my kids devoured.

It was hot today. Very, very hot.

Good times with my family.

Nicci D graduated from the FIDM that was taking her away from us for too long.... so we celebrated!

Welcome back girl, you have been missed.

True Food Kitchen did not disappoint, let me tell you. It's all local and organic goodness with portion control and good fats. So of course the food was to die for and healthy to boot! This is a Chrissy recommendation people...eat-pray-love it.

First day of pre-school

Today was the open house at Naomi's pre-school for parents and kids. I was able to stay and get an idea of how pre-school will be for her, which was such a fun idea.

She loved finding each shape located at the different stations. There was a book station, block station, lego station and a play dough station...just to name a few.

She loves her teacher and the cute friends she will be spending Tuesdays and Thursdays with this school year.

Of course one of the best things about her new school is being classmates with her good friend (and cousin) Piper!

These two have so much fun together.

I am loving Naomi's new do.

It's a sweet, young bob, but with a little edge to it with those short little bangs.

She is rocking it!

I swim, I'm a swimmer, I swim

Naomi had her first swim lesson today!

Despite the cold weather, she had a blast.

There were tears, tears of sadness when it was over.

The pictures say it all.

It was a great success!

I know they have had a hard season, but it seems I am bad luck because every time I go, they lose.

Boo.
