Saying Goodbye to our Favorite Tradition

We have enjoyed our year of having passes at Disneyland, but sadly, we decided to not renew this year, at least for now. Luckily, our last night we got to go to Disneyland, they had just opened up with all their Christmas decorations and the Christmas parade, so we still got to see Disneyland at our favorite time of year.

Image Graham was so excited for the parade to start! It was actually really fun and for the first time, I really got into the Christmas spirit. Either that, or I just couldn't get the song out of my head!!

ImageI love the way It's A Small World is all lit up. Also, the lights did this really cool "dance" when the clock struck the top of the hour. I have never seen it before, I wonder if it's something new this year.

Image The next morning, I decided to take Graham to Disneyland all by myself. Travis went with my Dad to see some car races and my mom had to work, so instead of sitting around all morning by myself, I thought, what the heck? Let's just go! I wish I would have done it more often, we had a great time! Here is Graham in front of the huge Christmas tree.

ImageI waited in line to get a picture with Mickey. Graham was afraid and so I am pretty positive that we are going to have an interesting picture with Santa this year.

ImageSitting on his new favorite ride, Dumbo, holding on to his magic feather!

ImageOn the boat for It's A Small World. That ride was so much fun for Christmas. I don't know if I had ever been for Christmas since the line is always so long, but it is a must see! There was even a room that smelled like gingerbread!

Image I had to take Graham to the Playhouse Disney show because it is my favorite! Graham was a little nervous and it took him a while to warm up to it, but at the end, he loved trying to grab the tissue falling from the sky.

Image I got one!

Image Of course, we had to hit up Bug's Life Land, which I thought was decorated so cute for Christmas.

Image Graham just walked around like he owned the place. I kept getting weird looks from people because I let him run around, but he needs to stretch his legs!

ImageTrying to get Graham to take a picture with the letters. He wanted to just play!

ImageNow I just need to teach him to smile on command! :)

We will miss you Disneyland! Thanks for all the great memories!

Halloween Fun!

We had such a fun Halloween day! I was so excited that it was on a Saturday this year because we got to spend the whole day doing fun Halloween stuff and then we ended the day taking Graham trick-or-treating. The perfect day!
Image We stared the day with some Halloween pancakes, so yummy!

ImageGraham definitely liked them (look at his new haircut!)

Image Then we went over to my parents house and carved our pumpkins. Travis took the big one.

ImageGraham's new obsession is cars. Grandma got him some "scary" cars and he sat and played with them while we carved the pumpkins.

ImageI carved the little pumpkin. I got Graham to help me a little bit.

ImageHe even wanted to dig some of the pumpkin out. What a great helper!

ImageOur final designs, we got artistic this year. It was really fun, but a lot harder than I thought it would be. I think they turned out really nice though.

Random Preschool Pictures

A couple days a week, I help my mom with her preschool and I get to take Graham with me. Most of the time, he just sleeps but he does get to spend time with the kids in the backyard while they are playing. Graham loves this time and he thinks he is just as big as them. Lately he has been trying to ride the big bikes. I had to get a picture the other day because it was just so cute. He looks so big!
Image So big!

I also took him on the class field trip to the pumpkin patch and I took a couple of pictures.

Image Riding on the train all by himself.

ImageBeing a scarecrow!

ImageYeah, it is almost impossible to get him to smile! :)

Dressing Up!

So, if any of you know me, I really don't like Halloween that much. I am the last person to dress up in a costume! Haha, I know, I guess I am lame. Well, Travis and I got invited to a Halloween Party and we wanted to have some clever costumes. After much thought, we decided to go as Nacho Libre and Sister Encarnacion....
Image We really commit to our costumes. Haha! We ended up having a great time at the party and I am actually looking forward to next year!

ImageGraham wasn't sure what to think. :)

Trick or Treating with Mickey!

This year we decided to try out Mickey's Trick or Treat at California Adventure. We have never been and I don't actually know any one who as gone, so we were not sure what we were getting ourselves into, but we were really excited about going. It didn't disappoint! I couldn't believe how much candy we got! I am not sure we even need to go trick or treating now. We had a great time and it was so fun to see Graham all dressed up, walking around California Adventure. I think we will definitely go again!
Image Before it started, we got to Disneyland a little early. We took Graham on a couple of rides, including Dumbo which he had never been on. Here is Travis and Graham sitting in Dumbo.

ImageGraham is checking out Dumbo. I think he really liked the ride!

Image After dinner, we got Graham all dressed up in his costume. This year he is a little puppy dog. I think he looks just adorable! I love his matching puppy treat bag.

ImageMy only complaint with the whole thing was that it was so late! Graham was pretty much done after an hour. Here he is trying to fall asleep, but he actually stayed awake the whole time. He is such a trooper!

Image They had all these Character stations everywhere where you got to take pictures with different characters (mostly the villians). Some of the lines were really long (like for the princesses) but we took a few pictures. Here we are with Peter Pan and Captain Hook.

ImageOf course, we dragged Grandma and Grandpa with us! Here they are in front of the Halloween decorations in the Pirate area.

ImageSince Graham was dressed up as a little dalmation puppy, we had to wait in line for Cruella De Ville, she offered us lots of money for Graham! :)

Image Towards the end of the night, Graham had had enough. So, Grandma gave him a sucker!

ImageThe longest line we waited in was for Mickey. Graham had fun eating his sucker and walking around.

Image Finally, our family picture with Mickey and Minnie. They were dressed up so cute!
