I have been very unproductive this week. Calin is getting his last two molars in and had 104° temperature Tuesday and Wednesday, he hasn't been napping and has been waking up throughout the night and early early in the morning, and during the day he has been super cranky, which is understandable since he is TWO, teething, not eating, not sleeping . . . yikes! So I have been neglecting the house work big time this week, and the kitchen/dinning room is a total mess with dishes and clutter and costumes in the works. Yuck! I tried to start cleaning today, but Calin was NOT having it. So we made a bigger mess with some green slime and homemade playdough.
It took Calin about 10 minutes to warm up to the slime. He kept freaking out because his hands were messy. He was really mad at me for making him put his hands in slime. But he did warm up to it, and played with it for a good 45 minutes. When the playdough was ready I tried switching activities, but he panicked and refused to give up his slime. So we'll save the playdough for later :)

Playing at the "Pawk"
While taking our family pictures this weekend Calin kept asking to go to the "pawk." We kept telling him we would take him to the park when we finished pictures. So off to the "pawk" we went.
He has been climbing this little rock wall for a few weeks now and is getting pretty good at it.
In the video Jordan says "I don't even think Kyla can do that" What I can't do, is stand far away and film Calin climbing up the steep high wall. Ahh! It's scary giving your kids the freedom to explore, grow, and lean new things!
Calin loves the park so much. What kid doesn't? I'm glad the weather is still pretty nice and we are able to play outside a lot before the snowy weather comes. He also has begun a new love for trains. He loves to say "choo choo" while making the motion like the picture below. He also has a Thomas the "Ween" that he carries around with him and asks for when all the time. It's pretty darn cute!
And while the boys played and I took pictures, Capri sat in the stroller happy as can be. I couldn't pick a favorite, so here are 4 cute {similar} pictures of my adorable 3 month old :)

Capri - 3 Months
I think Capri picked up a few tricks from her cousin Maylee a few weeks ago. She can now reach for and grab her toys and play with them, hold her head up way better during tummy time, and she likes to wiggle her way out of her bouncer if I don't have her strapped in. She's sitting really well in the bumbo also. She's still super cuddly! I would cuddle with her all day long if I could.
She is starting to grow out of many of her 0-3 month clothes
And she's gives more and more smiles each day :)
Oh, and for those wondering, our trip to Utah last week for Jordan's LASIK went very well. No more glasses or contacts for him!

Spence kids
Here are some pictures we took while all the little Spence cousins were together.
Kelly took most of them, and has more posted over on her blog.
{thanks kelly!}
It's always so fun getting together. We all had boys first, and then we all had girls within a year of each other. The boys have so much fun playing when they are all together, and I'm sure the girls will have a blast also as they get older.
Can you guess what girls and boys are siblings?
Calin doesn't get to hold Capri by himself too often, so he was Loving this!
P.S. Notice Jordan's glasses? We are heading to Utah today for him to get Lasik. Today is his consultation and if all goes well, he will get the surgery Tuesday, then a checkup on Wednesday before we head home. Yay!
