6 Months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Image

Well my baby boy is 6 months old. Time has gone by so fast, I can't believe it. We have had our ups and downs. His sleep pattern changes on me on a weekly basis. Some weeks I get sleep some I don't. I love him so very much I can't even express it. He has grown so much. He is 26 3/4 inches long weighs 16 lbs 2.5 oz. his head is 45 cm.  -Is rolling. He still struggles getting from his stomach to his back, but is getting it and has started rolling and moving all over the den. - Is sitting up better and better each day. - Is all smiles. - Had his first hair cut and could probably use another one. -Loves his daddy and always wants to play with my phone because that is where daddy's voice comes from. When Joe is home Spenzer just wants to play with his daddy. - Loves his doggy. Jasmine is his favorite thing to watch and touch when she lets him. Jasmine is very gentle with him and loves to give him kisses. -Is starting to eat baby food but doesn't really like it. - Likes sitting at the table while we eat.

On a side note we bought a new family car. Joe found it is Phoenix when he was laid over there and it was a really good deal so we jumped on it. I can't believe I have such a fancy car and all the technology will take some time to get used to but I really like it. It is a Mercedes GL450. It is fully loaded.

So I am absolutely horrible at blogging. I have no clue why I even have a blog. So I thought I would share a couple pictures from the last couple months. We have had Spenzer blessed, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and a family Christmas party. Here are some pictures, enjoy!

Spenzer Joseph

So I am EXTREMELY slow at blogging but I think having a new born is a great excuse. So I am a mom of the most adorable little boy I have ever seen. He came to us on Sept. 2 at 10:07 p.m. after my water broke at 5 am with no contractions. I was put on PIT after 5 hours and nothing. At 2pm I was dilated to a 7 and that is where I stayed. At 8:30 they said I should start thinking about a c-section. Joe and I prayed about it and decided that we would do what the doctor thought would be the best. At 9:30 they prepped me and took me to the operating room. Joe was so amazing through the whole day especially when I started freaking out about a c-section. He held my hand the whole time as he watched them cut me open and pull out the baby and sew me back up. I heard Spenzer cry and then they took him into the nursery. I didn't get to see him before. The doctor held him up but I only saw the bottom half of him. As they were sewing me up we were waiting for them to tell us his weight and length, but they never did. They took me to my room and Joe went and checked on our baby. After several minutes he came back and told me that Spenzer was having some breathing problems and he was on oxygen, but doing ok. Later I found out that some breathing problems was almost having to put a breathing tube down his throat because he wouldn't breath. The Respiratory Therapist told us that Spenzer turned around faster than he has ever seen a baby do. He went from needing a tube to only needing oxygen for a couple hours. Prayers were being said for my little guy. So Joe brought me pictures when he came back to the room but I didn't get to see him until 4am, 6 hours after he was born. Lets just say I wasn't resting very well because I was worried about my little man and I wanted to see him, but I couldn't get in a wheel chair yet and he couldn't leave the NICU. When I finally did get to see him I had the hardest time putting him down or letting Joe hold him. I was so in love and that love just grows each time I look at him. We had to stay in the hospital until Monday afternoon. When we got home Joe went and bought a recliner so I could be more comfortable recovering.

Life as a mother has been the most wonderful most tiring thing I have ever done. Joe was able to be home until Saturday. When he left I just wanted to cry. In fact I think I did. Joe has been able to be here every couple days which has been nice even if only for a couple hours.

Okay enough reading a boring story, here are some pictures of my adorable son. I don't have many recent ones because I take them with my phone and I haven't transferred them.

ENJOY!!!Image

12 Days with Joe!!!

So Joe came home for 12 days. In that 12 days he accomplished so much I can't even name it all but I will list some of the things he did.
Minor repairs to the 4 wheeler and 5th wheel
Replaced 2 faucets for the outside hoses
Installed 2 air conditioners both he had to put in new outlets, one had to build a stand for
mowed the lawn
cleaned out the shed including taking out a pet box that had 100 or more screws in it
took me camping for 5 days where he did most of the cooking
cleaned part of the house
cooked most meals while we were home
spent time talking to the baby
Reformatted his computer
Installed a sub woofer in our surround sound
Did several loads of laundry
Installed boards under the couch so no more tennis balls would go under it
Played in the pool with my niece and nephew
I know he did more but I can't think of it all

Okay now the list of what I did
Folded all the laundry
helped clean the shed
relaxed while camping
made bread
went to the doctor

Some how I look extremely lazy compared to Joe, but he wanted to do all that and I tried to help wherever I could but, Joe is one independent man. All I have to say is that I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband who makes me so very happy. Its hard to think I deserve such an amazing man by my side. I can't wait to have his child and watch him be a wonderful dad and raise our son together.
