Miss Ella Leona is two months old! She is 10lbs 11oz, and 22.5" long. I can't imagine having a baby at the size she's at now, like some women do! She is just the sweetest little thing. She is a very mellow baby, wide-eyed, happy and beautiful. She sleeps about 9pm-5am usually-she took after her brother and I lucked out! She only poops every week to week and a half; which causes her some discomfort and makes her bum stinky stinky, but it's great for diaper changes. She is a very wiggly and noisy eater. There's not much else she does right now other than what the typical two month old does: eats, sleeps, poops... and she's starting to show off those dimples and interact more. I love this age because they're more alert and are trying to figure things out the more they can see and focus on. She just stares at me and smiles and I like to think she admires me and she doesn't just think I'm goofy lookin'. I absolutely love her to death!
Kobe is such a great big brother. He loves Ella so much and always wants to be around her and help her. He calls her "Beh"; which was a transformation of "baby Ella." It went from Baby Ella, to Bay Ella, to Bella, to Beh. When I leave Ella on the couch or chair for a minute, or if she's in her crib, I turn my head for a few seconds and Kobe is right there next to her. It's pretty stinking adorable if you ask me. We lucked out so far with admiration rather than spite. He also loves his doll, Javi. He mimics many of the parenting tasks we do, with his doll. We ordered Javi online. He was the only boy doll in that price range and it said that he was Hispanic, but he didn't look very dark or anything. He showed up and the pictures were deceiving (not that that was a bad thing) but he was named Javi and Kobe went with it. He claimed one of Ella's blankets as Javi's blanket, and Javi is usually a part of our family now. Along with his everyday playing of cars, Kobe also loves playing with blocks/legos, pushing strollers (or anything you can push with wheels) into lines, his choo choo tracks, and reading books. He loves to ask. "wanna pay? wanna pay mommy? wanna pay daddy?" If he's beyond the point of asking, he says, "come er." He gets pretty demanding with that command. His favorite shows/movies right now are "Toy Stree" (Toy Story) 1,2 &3, "Mah-sirs" (Monsters Inc.), "Increbibbles" (Incredibles), "Escoobydoo" (Scoobydoo), Cars, and Frozen. He loves pointing out "birdge" (bridges), "cool bus" (school bus), "gobbage truck" (garbage truck), and other vehicles. He has an amazing sense of direction and knows where people live and where we're going. His memory amazes me. He likes timeout (obviously not a very effective disciplinary action with him)- he often puts himself on timeout in "Beh's" room. If he gets his feelings hurt, he'll put himself on timeout. When you go to get him he'll say, "No, I on timeout." He loves to "pay ow-side," especially with the neighbor kids. He gets so excited if they're outside. He's not so good with sharing, so he'll often end up in tears, yet he still loves to play. He has a fascination with the new neighbor boy, Trevor, who's 4yrs old. He's the "new cool kid." He rides around on his sister's pink bike, and every time Kobe sees him, he gets so excited and says, "Hi Trevor! Wanna pay?" Trevor just rides up and down the street and the little two-year-olds just stare at him and yell. When Trevor heads back home Kobe says, "Where Trevor go?" It's quite humorous. Another cute thing Kobe says is, "Mommy this!" He started doing that randomly one day while falling backwards onto his beanbag. It was so random and cute and funny.
Oma and Epop were able to come up in September and meet Ella, so we timed it to do her baby blessing as well. Kobe had so much fun with them here and got very used to them being here every morning when he woke up. We did a lot of sitting around and eating because of nursing and napping, but we sure enjoyed their company and I'm sure they enjoyed the grand kids. We did go up to Chelan for a night because my parents had one of their timeshares up there. That was a nice little getaway for me anyway. It gets harder for me to say bye to my parents the more kids I have. I love watching them interact and snuggle. They, and the rest of my family are the main reason I overload social media with pictures of my children. That and the fact that I'm obsessed.
Oma had to bribe Kobe with M&Ms to cut his hair
Lake Chelan
Late night movie and popcorn with Epop
Bonfire, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in our driveway
Lane gave Ella a beautiful blessing. He was emotional and we all felt the spirit very strong. There's a very special bond between each of our kids and him. He's such a great, admirable man and I am so grateful for his priesthood. Ella wore the blessing dress that I wore on my blessing day; which my mom made for me. I loved it. Christine Potter snapped some beautiful pictures of her in the dress.
Kobe set up a photo shoot with Javi while I was trying with Ella.
Three generations
Dad's smile...haha
Lane took this same picture with Kobe on his blessing day- it's one of my favorites.

Four generations
I love my little family.
Tobie wore a pink tie for baby Ella. He's so sweet.
Some of my wonderful friends that attended her blessing. Jacqueline, Laurel and Sunnie.
Raurel... or "Ro"--Kobe's lazy way of saying it
I found this picture of me and my dad in my baby album and the face that I'm making reminds me of a face that Ella makes so I told my dad that I wanted to reenact it with her. He came upstairs randomly one day dressed and ready! Ella had to be woken up for the picture so she didn't quite make the face I had in mind, but it was pretty hilarious.
And here's just some other random pictures from my phone from the past couple months:
Kobe trying to nurse Javi. He's slightly confused as to where "nulk" (milk) comes from
Tobie got baptized the first week of September. He's such a sweet boy; we are quite fond of him.
A beanie and booties that Mimi's knitting teacher made her
One of her first real smiles
Faith loves having another girl cousin close
One of the things Kobe mimics...Daddy on his computer
Piggy-back ride
A typical view of mine
Kobe's really into putting his hands in his pockets
Laurel had knee surgery so we have been keeping her company. She races us at stores in her motorized scooter
Always hanging out with sister. Almost couldn't find her in this picture.
Daddy loves his snuggles.
Just a cute girl in a cute sweater
Kobe loves motorcycles and he loves Papa. Perfect combo.
I love to paint her nails. Having a girl is so much fun!
Kobe decided he was afraid of an earthworm, so Nana took advantage of his fear and he got comfy on her.
Heather surprised me one day. They live in Cashmere but bought a summer home in New Hampshire so they had been gone and she missed Ella being born. We weren't expecting to see her until they come back in December but she walked in one day and took me by surprise! She is such a sweet friend to come all that way to meet Ella and visit her friends!
This is a dress that Mimi (Ella's great grandmother) knitted her. A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.
He loves his blocks. He's getting so imaginative and he's always been so organized.
I sure do love my babies.
Tate and Kobe were wrestling each other over who got to lay next to Ella.
Kobe gets so excited to see the "cool bus" go by (two go by twice a day in our neighborhood). He loves wearing his backpack too. He doesn't even know what school is but lately he's been asking to go to school, and cries when I say he's not old enough. I think he thinks he'll get to ride the bus, and that's what school is.
Kobe picked out some shoes for her to wear and tried putting them on.
She's such a happy girl!
A face I captured him making while watching "Escoobydoo"
Hanging out with "Ro"
I love this boy.
