Then Comes New

Totally random topic, but I bought groceries today at a new store and it started making me think.

1.) Trader Joes
-um…so most everything in here is somewhat healthier than most processed grocery stores. A lot of organic choices. BUT…the amazing thing is that it’s suppppeerrr cheap and close by. Off of Riverside. Plus. they have this really amazing chocolate granola cereal that I’ve fallen in love with, soy nuggets to die for, and mouth watering spinach enchilada and sushi trays.. Other cool aspects: if you bring your own bag they put your name in a drawing for a grocery card. Really environmentally friendly.

2.) Vons
– I like Von’s because it’s close by..off of Pass Rd. and it is the closest thing to Randall’s around here. They have the Lucerne brand, which makes me happy …cause well I like it. Just sign up for a store grocery card and you’re good. Probably one of the more cheap stores. Buy produce here because Trader Joes is lacking in that department.

3.) Ralph’s
-I hear-from the Houston kids- that it’s the equivalent to Krogers? They are everywhere in the LA area. Just another grocery store. I sort of feel like it’s more expensive than TJ or Von’s but maybe that’s all in my head. Bigger store, so I’m assuming they have more to offer than the previous two.

4.) Albertson’s
–Hoozah! So Albertson’s reminds me of my childhood so I automatically love it. However out of all the options you have out here…I’d put it near the bottom of preference.

5.) YOU”RE SCREWED! if you like Walmart because those don’t exist. Your only option is Target. Walmart sucks as a corporation anyways.
