• ZL - A new system programming language. PhD Thesis
• SCOWL (and Friends) - A careful combination of many other lists in order to create high quality word lists suitable for spell checker.
• GNU Aspell - A spell checker designed to eventually replace Ispell. Its main feature is that it does a much better job of coming up with possible suggestions than just about any other spell checker out there for the English language.
