What a dramatic change my life has taken! I never would have guess I could live on such little sleep.... and love someone so much.... and somehow know how to take care of a newborn.... and be so weak/soar to not be able to walk up the stairs while holding Cache the first day home..... and be so incredibly nervous/scared to have a bowl movement! haha..
The first couple days and nights were really rough! Cache was waking up about every three hours to eat and I was struggling ALOT with nursing! It was super painful and it was starting to stress me out majorly! Lance took a week off of work and was helping out a bunch, but only I could feed him. I didn't really like that. Around the fifth or sixth night when Lance found me balling in the nursery feeding Cache, is when things started to change. Lance made me take a break from nursing, and I started pumping. More on that later....
Now some pictures of the beautiful Cacheum Smashum! (As Lance has nicknamed him!) Most of these are just a bunch of firsts! :) First day at home sitting in his bouncer.
This is one of my favorite pictures!! My two favorite boys just laying on the couch! I love it:) It amazes me everyday how much Cache looks JUST like Lance! He is such a cutie!
First time trying out his bassinet. He didn't like it very much, so he slept in his bouncer for the first little while of life!
Lance's grandma and grandpa Andreasen came down from Logan to meet baby Cache. With Cache, it made four generations of Andreasen men! Super cute picture!
First time meeting his cute friend Jude! They are just about a month apart! His momma is our friend Nikki Trujillo! Lance has been friend with her since high school, and I met her through him and we played soccer together! It was super nice and fun to be pregnant together and have little babies together! She is a great friend:)
This is his first time trying out the bottle! He looks so cute with his little hand up there holding it! now if only he could do that for real:)
Here is a cute picture of him being burped! I just love this little guy...
I love this picture of Cache! He has his little hands interlocked like he is saying a prayer or something! haha... so cute!
Look at these beautiful eyes! They weren't open very much at this time! So we loved it whenever they were!
This was the first time Cache met his best bud Dakota! Daniel and Terra brought us dinner and these too little guys got to finally meet! Every time Dakota sees Cache, he gets a HUGE grin on his face:) Its the cutes thing ever! I know they are going to be the best of friends!!
He is so little and yet so big compared to other newborn babies! I love him so much and my amazing husband who has been such a wonderful help at this life changing time! I'm also SOOO thankful to my beautiful little sister Kathryn for being a huge help to me!! Life is stressful/trying/full of changes/happiest/and craziest time with a newborn! I never would have known my body to be in such pain and to be so happy all at the same time! I love this new change my life is going through and cant wait for all the little things!
I want to thank all our amazing neighbors and friends that brought us dinner at this time! It was so nice not to have to worry about dinner while trying to figure out how to take care of a newborn! Everything we got we absolutely loved! Thanks to all my wonderful friends for all their advice at this time too! It is much appreciated and needed!
