The dogs LOVE the pool. Well Duke loves the pool, Rudy loves being outside and Harley loves chewing on rocks!

Getting Settled

We have been in our new house nearly two months now. Progress has been slow, but it's getting there! Mainly waiting on contractor availability. We are loving our yard (especially the pool)! There is always more to do, we are realizing how easy we had it buying a brand new house in Colorado! We have gotten the gas grill working, which is awesome! Luke has patched the patio roof, the whole exterior of the house was painted this past week. We pulled out most of the bushes in the backyard because they shed into the pool. We have replaced them with cacti. A little bit concerning if there are kids around but Luke believes that they will only have to touch them once :-) A little evil, although that philosophy doesn't apply to dogs, as Duke has stepped on, sniffed, ran through them a few times without noticing. Question is, is it because he is a dog or a blonde? Rudy and Harley tend to avoid the cacti...interesting.









Pictures of the exterior will show up when I decide to go take some pictures of the paint job.

Arizona....here we come!

So Luke has accepted a job with the VA in Phoenix, Arizona. So after only a year and a half in Colorado we are packing up the house, selling the house, and moving again!!! Not thrilled, but it is what it is!
