Kaitlyn's Special Musical #

Today was a memorable day for our family! Our lovely Kaitlyn played a special musical # in Sacrament Meeting on her cello. It was so beautiful. I am so proud of her and the hard work and dedication she gives to develop her talent.
Kaitlyn is lucky enough to have the best Cello Teacher EVER!!! Christy Mann...We love YOU! She is a friend of mine who was blessed with AMAZING talent. I asked her this summer if she would be interested in teaching Kaitlyn and she agreed. She is WONDERFUL, SWEET, KIND and she LOVES my Kaitlyn! What a perfect combo :)
Together...and with the great help of Christy's Sister Mandy...THANKS!...They arranged this Hymn Medley...combined 3 hymns into one beautiful #. It was amazing to see it all come together. Kaitlyn practiced and practiced & practiced. It was Kaitlyn's idea to play a hymn at church. I'd say she is one courageous gal and one that I admire. She was nervous but she played beautifully! It brought tears to my eyes as I could feel her sweet spirit as she played these songs testifying of Jesus Christ who is our Savior & Redeemer. The 3 songs she played were A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief, I Feel My Savior's Love and I Know That My Redeemer Lives ( click on the hymns to see the words and listen to them if you like). She ended the medley with more of A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief. We all were touched and you could feel the spirit so strong as she played her testimony of our Savior.
Here is a rehearsal from this morning...

******REMEMBER TO SCROLL DOWN & PAUSE MY MUSIC PLAYER ***************
Can you believe she has only been playing her cello for 1 1/2 years? WoW!!! I KNOW!!! Kaitlyn, Keep up the good work!
It was a special day for us all. My Parents & my Sister's family were all there to support her. We all love Kaitlyn and are so proud of what a lovely young lady she is growing up to be. She has a sensitive heart like her mom and gets teary when she feels the spirit. I sure Love you Kaitlyn! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

I NEED to Blog about Something :)

Well, I have been having the itch to Blog...but what about??? I had NOTHING! Since Christmas, everything has been pretty low key. I recovered from my icky sickness, Leonard did get sick but passed quickly. Thank Heavens ~ But as I thought and thought...Randomness is the best cure for NOTHING... so here I go... Here is my NOTHING into SOMETHINGS and I have to include pictures cuz blogging without pictures is way to boring if you ask me. :)Image
The Plasma Cars have been a HUGE HIT at our house! The kiddos love riding them around. Blake has claimed the blue one for himself and has a major tantrum melt-down if anyone...CARLY... dares to ride his BLUE CAR! The screaming is oh so enjoyable. Other than the daily battles over who rides which car... they are fantastic ;)

Image
I have been riding my bike on the trainer almost everyday for an hour. I am loving all this ride time and I love not having to worry about the snowbirds or drunks or teenagers killing me while I ride. It has been great! Although, my heart rate beats slower on this bad boy and I think it has to do with LACK of the fear of getting run over. I kinda like adrenalin! Helps me burn some extra calories... I will get back on the road one day but in the meantime, I will enjoy the trainer.
I have set up my bike on the back patio and hop on for an hour and I use my handy dandy book holder. I have been doing a LOT of reading lately and I rediscovered how much I love to read~ :) I have been so busy, that reading was at the bottom of my list. It has officially moved up the ranks in my life and I am happy :)

Image
After a year....SERIOUSLY!!! a YEAR of reading one page at a time practically... I finally finished reading the HOST! Hallelujah!...now let me explain.... I always liked reading this book when I chose to read it, but I would choose to read it at the wrong time of day for me. Reading puts me to sleep. It is true! Instead of taking a sleeping pill if i am feeling restless or can't turn my mind off, I open up a book and it lulls my little brain to la la land. It is a blessing and a curse i tell you. A Blessing cuz I will always fall asleep while reading and a Curse because I ALWAYS fall asleep while reading. Even if it is good, down I go to sleepy land. Soooooo, I would start to read this book at the end of my day when I was tired and ready for sleep and out I go. Therefore, one year later and finally some daytime dedication and with the help of my bike trainer... I FINALLY FINISHED THE HOST! It was good, I liked it. It had a good ending and I was excited to move on to the next book on my list that has been staring at me for the last SEVERAL months.....

Image I have only heard good things about this book and I was so excited read this and let me say that I LOVED The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. It is quite the mouthful of a title :) The Story takes place in 1945, WW2 time period about an author who becomes pen pals with a man from Guernsey, an Island off the English Channel. She learns about the hardships and trials this little island and the people who lived there faced while the Nazi's occupied their land during the war. It is written so well, In letter form. Easy to read. Easy to love the characters and you can feel what they felt. Their happiness, sadness and everything in between! I highly recommend this book! FANTASTIC! I was sad when it ended.

Image Next on the shelf to read was this... POPE JOAN. Completely different than the light read I just finished. This book was good and I couldn't put it down. It really got me thinking and I praise the heavens I wasn't born during the Dark Ages because MAN OH MAN the time after Christ was Crucified and the gospel was not on the earth anymore was a very dark time. Women especially were treated horribly and they had no rights. They were basically a waste of space. They were meant to be slaves to men and bear children, but only boys were celebrated and girls were thought of as junk. it was pretty sad. but this gal JOAN is one tough cookie and the only way she could learn to read, be educated and have some peace in her life was to disguise herself as a man and the world opened up to her. I have no doubts that catholics are NOT HAPPY with this book and history of corruption and wickedness that rattles their church. They would not be happy to know that a woman fooled them all and became the pope and stirred things up during 845 AD. It was a good book! I thought it was very empowering for women and basically says you can do anything you want to do with hard work, dedication and determination. Being Educated is POWER~!
Now supposedly, Pope Joan is considered a myth at least to the catholic church. But I believed she was real, I believe she suffered like crazy and she really did become the pope and did great things for her people during her time that she served. hmmm it is a mystery. read it and see what you think :)

ImageI am currently reading Hunger Games and I am liking it! It will be a quick read and i feel suspense coming on too! Should be good!
So what have you read that you loved so I can add it to my "TO READ" List? Please do share :)

Here is some more Randomness......

ImageOn New Years Morning at 7 am we are all tucked in our beds sleeping soundly, when suddenly we were all woken with screaming siren blaring our ears and we all jumped out of bed with a fright. "NOT AGAIN!!!!!", we all say together.
Our DUMB Smoke detectors are a bit glitchy. They alarm anytime they want, setting all the house detectors off at the same time and 2 of them can only be reached with a ladder. So our ears are ringing and aching by the time the ladder is retrieved and we dismantle the dang thing to get it to shut up. Now... IF... there was a real fire or smokey danger I would be glad to be " SCREAMED" at to get up and get out! BUT, our smoke detectors must think it is a game to wake us up in a fright at all times of the days and nights as we scramble around sniffing the air and running around with our heads chopped off sensing real danger or not! Well let me tell you this game of "Playing wolf with Zito's" has got to stop. We have replaced them all with new batteries several times and we can't figure out what the heck is wrong with out alarms. SOOO, we decided to just replace them all with new ones. It was a bit pricey to replace 5 at one time, but it HAD to be done!
On Saturday Leonard and Blake went to work and put up the "New BEEPS"...says Blake. He tells everyone he know and doesn't know... that he got a new beep in his room. They look at him like WHAT???? Then I help by translating for my son!
Blake was really freaked out this last time the detectors went off. Last month in preschool they learned about fires, & Smoke detectors and... remember we toured the firehouse???!!! So he knew exactly what that alarm screaming in his ear was all about and he was panicked! Well all is good and peace has been restored within our home! With some "NEW BEEPS!" phew! ;)

Random stuff is fun! I like this post! On to another one :)
Image
Here is our grill. We LOVE this grill. We BELIEVE this grill cooks the best steaks and salmon out there! It cooks evenly and what more could you want with a grill??? HIGH HEAT = GOOD MEAT!!! Man, I am getting hungry now....anyhow, Leonard gave our grill a very needed deep clean. it had gotten grimy, greasy and just plain NASTY. The time had come for a little lovin for our favorite grill of them all. After a couple hours of scrubbing, she is as good as new. I enjoyed my time on the porch swing reading while Leonard worked! I smiled a lot this afternoon! :) Thanks for your hard work Leonard! We Need to have a BBQ now!

~Onto some MOVIE REVIEWS!!!!~

ImageIn DEC & JAN Leonard & I have been movie watching fools!
This fact delights Leonard very much since I am not really a HUGE fan of theater movie watching. I like being in my pjs, snuggled up on the couch with my blankets and now snuggie ;) on my own TV and comforts of home to watch movies and Leonard LOVEs the Big Screen, Surround sound stereo blasting base and rumbling the floor and the whole theater experience. I like it but don't LOVE it and he does. Well, anyhow, we have heard good things about several movies out and have been seeing LOTS!
We really LOVED Blindside! It is inspiring, heartwarming and just plain good! EVERYONE needs to see it for sure. Yes it is a football movie and yes there are MANY of them but THIS one I think is extra special. We will for sure buy this when it is released on DVD!

ImageNext we saw AVATAR at the IMAX SUPER BIG SCREEN in 3D! Yes, we paid big bucks to see it...$28 for a movie!!!! But I will tell you it was AWESOME! no wonder it has made a BILLION + dollars now and is still #1 in the box office! the IMAX 3D experience made this movie watching thing totally amazing! NO JOKE! We felt like we were really there IN the movie. I can get into sci-fi stuff if needed while being entertained by a movie, but this was really enjoyable. The story was good and we totally want to see this again! Save up and see this movie in 3D. You won't be disappointed and if you are....well you are just a stick in mud! HA ;)

Image We also saw this...INVICTUS!!! Excellent movie! I highly recommend this inspiring movie too! I learned a lot in this flick and it makes me want to study up more about the history if Nelson Mandela and South Africa! Hey, I even want to learn more about rugby and all the rules and jazz. I had a smile on my face as I left this movie. It had a great message and one that I think every person in the world hear, believe and adopt. " I am the master of my fate, I am the Captain of my soul."....love it! No EXCUSES!!! you have the choice to make your life the way you want it. you are your own master. Choose wisely!
Loved this movie...see it and change the world!

ImageOur last movie watching parade ends with Sherlock Holmes, which we watched this weekend. I liked it. I was entertained. But I did not love it and think it stinks that every movie that come out...just about thinks they need a 2nd & 3rd or more in the same title. it BUGS! come on Hollywood, be original. you cheapskates, money grubbing people you! just be happy with the first and move on. like chipmunks 2...give me a break! Ice age 3??? pink panther 2??? you get what i mean. they just think...ohhh easy money???!!!! & most of the time the 2nds & 3rds are mostly CRAPPY! ok enough ranting!
What did you think about Sherlock Holmes?

Ok.... Last Random SOMETHING :)
ImageIt's been a couple weeks since I made splash at my gym pool! I really enjoy swimming laps and I was so excited to get back to the pool yesterday morning. I get up...out of my nice warm bed... and jump into my suit and head to the pool. Boy, I am cold! It is a brisk 55 degrees out and I really don't want to jump into a cold pool ...even thought it is heated...but I vow...today is the day I get back on my horse. I am looking forward to soaking in the hot tub after my swim. It is gonna be nice!!!!
Well, as I check in with front desk, I notice a sign that the heater is out on the pool! DANG IT!!!! I have come to swim and swim I will.... Freezing cold or not?!!! There was 1 brave soul in there swimming laps so it can't be that cold right??? WRONG!!!
I put my feet in and HOLY TOLEDO!!! FREEZING!!! but i was determined! I couldn't give up because it was cold... that's what i kept telling myself.... 2 minutes later i am up to my knees. they were going numb so a little bit further i dipped in. My teeth were started to chatter...This is gonna take forever to be fully immersed. I just take a couple deep breaths and dunk down. HOLY SMOKES... I have not been in this cold of a pool before. I figure once i get swimming I will warm up right??? well about 8 laps in my hands are numb and i kinda feel warm. I am thinking ...this is what it will feel like in the lake for the triathlon I am training for. I CAN DO IT!!! I am almost 1/2 way done, so I keep going. It is cold all 20 laps and I was definitely feeling AWAKE!!! Unfortunately, the heater in the hot tub was out to, so no warming my bones there. BOO HISSS! I am happy to get out and get home. As I am leaving the pool a lady is ready to swim, she takes one look at me and changes her mind. Come on lady...don't be a wimp! ;) It was a chilly start to the day and I feel like one brave soul...or maybe crazy????!!!
I plan on returning when the heater is fixed. I still feel cold! :)
aaahhh, I feel like I pulled it off... a Blog Post with NOTHING to SOMETHING! Thanks for reading and share some goodness with me :)

Pre-Christmas Eve - New Years Eve & all the fun in between! The MEGA POST!!!

Boy oh Boy do I have some FUN in store for you all :) I am NOT Joking this is THE MEGA POST!!!! I have lots of fun to share, so snuggle up and start reading :)

Christmas Time is one of our family's FAVORITE Times of the year!!! All the Treats, Singing Christmas carols at the top of our lungs over and over again, Christmas Lights, Shopping, Trying to be Sneaky to wrap & hide gifts, Thinking of others, Christmas Cards, Neighbor Treats, Christmas Movies, Hot Chocolate, DECORATING!!!, Parties, Friends, & Family get togethers. But most important of them all is Remembering our Savior Jesus Christ Birth and the gifts He has given each one of us! What a blessing it is to be here on the earth at this time! What Joy fills my heart when I reflect on all my many blessings. I am happy to be alive! I love my life and all the wonderful people who are in my life! The Christmas season is so cheery and bright! I wish it could last longer! I guess it can in our hearts if we let it :) Image
Our Family Tradition is to visit the Mesa Temple Christmas Lights each year and we barely made it before Christmas~ Dec 23rd was a Super Duper Chilly Night. We braved the cold and the crowds to ooooh and aaaahh at the beauty of the temple & the festive lights.

Image
We took one lap around the grounds and took a few pics for memory sake and we hurried back to the heater in the truck. BRRRRR! I am so glad we went!

Image
Then off to Krispy Kreme's for our Annual Doughnut Dessert tradition! The kids have decided this is a MUST every year! Ok...you twisted my arm ;) They were tasty!
We love jumping into Dad's truck for a ride around town! Now crank up the heater and lets head home! :)

~CHRISTMAS EVE ~Image
Every Christmas Eve we gather at my parent's home to Frost Sugar Cookies for Santa! It is so fun and the kids are in SUGAR OVERLOAD HEAVEN!!! It was a smaller crowd then usual. My brother and his family are living in Utah! We missed them at our traditional Cookie Frosting Fiesta! {Love you Guys!}

Image
The kiddos are mastering the art of Sugar Cookie Decorating! I am very impressed with their skills! I sure love my mom and her faithful dedication she has to making all these scrumptious cookies and frosting for the grand kids to decorate each year! She is the Best!!! Love you MOM!!!

Image
Check out the YUMMINESS!!! The Zito kiddos and cousins Claire & Ethne! You guys should open up your own cookie shop and sell these beauties! I know Santa will LOVE each and everyone! aaaah Good times :)

The Coopers left to have Christmas Eve Dinner at their other Grandparents home and the rest of us had a delicious taco dinner at my mom's and then we headed off to ZOOLIGHTS!!!

Image
This is our second visit to Zoolights at the Phoenix Zoo and it was pretty fun. My folks, my sister Celeste and her hubby Matt and their cute son Van joined us as we strolled around the zoo trying to keep warm and feel the Christmas magic in the air as the anticipation for Santa's arrival would be soon!

Image
I am amazed at the amount of lights they use on all the trees! Just GORGEOUS!!! We spent a couple minutes checking out JENGA the talking Giraffe. Blake was Freaked out and would not get close to it at all! We were all surprised at his timidness so we strolled along! We rounded the corner and saw the CAMEL RIDES!!! My kids were begging and pleading. "Not this time" I said. "Maybe next time" Leonard said. Then all of a sudden Papa Daddy (a.k.a Grandpa Gordon) gathers the kids and walks them over to the booth and get in line! Oh that Papa Daddy...spoiling his Grand kids! They squealed with delight! And gave hugs to grandpa and jumped up and down and their turn was coming up! THANKS Dad you are so kind and HANDSOME too... might I add ;)

Image
The next thing you know the kids are riding their first and maybe only camel! HOORAY!!! What a bumpy ride!

Image
And a SUPER DUPER SHORT ride too may I say! Their camel ride was as long as it took me to take these 4 pictures! No joke! They loved the whole MINUTE of it and I was happy. They were happy and Papa Daddy was happy! This is something they will always remember! Thanks again Dad! Blake told me he loved the horse. I laugh and tell him it was a camel and he tells me....No, it's a horse! ....Well, I have pictures to prove it...one day I will be right :)
The Zoolights were a hit! We hurried home to put out Santa's Cookies & Milk, Rudolf's Carrot and oats in the grass for all the other reindeer too! We did let the kids open one present before bed... any guesses??? Yep new PJ's and Robes for the girls! They loved them and by 10:30pm the kids were finally in bed! It was a LATE night for everyone!!!! ;) and in a BLINK of the eye literally... It was morning and....

~ SANTA CAME!!! ~Image
Wow, Santa really came! Kaitlyn, Carly & Blake have been waiting their "whole life" for this day to finally come! It's a morning filled with excitement!

Image
Let the present time begin! I love watching their happy faces as they open their gifts! I love Christmas!!!

Image

Image
Santa brought the girls Rollerblades and Blake a new game! SWEET!!!

Image
Our Carly Poo! Merry Christmas!

Image
~ Kaitlyn ~ Our Schmaty! Merry Christmas!

Image
Oh Blakey Boy! Merry Christmas!
I love watching him open presents especially when he stick out his tounge like that! He is focused! Very focused! :)

Image
Blake's VERY Favorite gift is the Thomas the Train set that Santa brought! It was the only thing he truly really wanted! It was the last present to open too! He had all eye's on that box and asked a million times to open it up NOW so he could play. It was a hard wait! but he made it :)

Image
Leonard got some new shoes, PJ pants, socks :) and SURPRISE new Rollerblades! Sweet! Let's go skating :) He also got a year supply of Hot Hand Hand warmers for all his many camping adventures. He also got himself a new tent and sleeping bag! Merry Christmas Lenny!

Image
Leonard totally SPOILED me this year! Thanks babe!!! He got me some beautiful new Pearl earrings, Perfume that I LOVE, Hobby Lobby gift card...SCORE!!!, The clapper plus...an upgrade from my last clapper. You know, The Clapper... for turning on and off your lamp by the bed. I always fall asleep with my lamp on and The Clapper has been convenient to turn it off without losing my comfy spot on the bed. I even got my clapper to work by Snapping my fingers, I called it the Snapper...but unfortunately my old clapper died... so Hooray The Clapper PLUS with a remote! even better :) It was a delightful surprise! I feel loved! Merry Christmas to me!

Image
The Spoiling continues as Leonard bought this (a Early Christmas Present) AWESOME indoor bike trainer and book holder too. I am sooooo excited about that! I have been too cold in the mornings to ride and it's too dark too! So now I can ride everyday no excuses right? I have been on it twice so far! :) AND Leonard bought me some new Rollerblades too! I love to skate! my old skates are at least 8 years old! I love my new blades and taken them out for a spin too! SWEET!!! I love getting spoiled! Keep up the good work Lenny ;)

Image
On last family gift on Christmas morning.... Katilyn is sooo excited, can you tell? I love it! Yeee-HAW!! Wii Fit!!!! Merry Christmas Family! :) I Love you all!

We picked up the living room and headed over to my parents house for Strawberry Waffles Brunch! It was delicious and we look forward to this breakfast every year! YUM! We hung out, exchanged a few more gifts and then took the kids to the park to test out the new Rollerblades and play! It was a beautiful sunny day! Man I LOVE Arizona!!!! What A Day!

Image
We came home and played with all our new toys Oh...the kids got 2 plasma cars this year too! They are pretty cool & I can even take them out for a spin! While the kids played, Leonard & I took a long well needed nap! It was a Wonderful Christmas! I can't believe it is over? :( Boo Hoo!

Image
As I mentioned earlier about loving Christmas parties, Leonard & I attended 2 fun work parties.

We were invited to attend the NetApp party hosted at Bill's Home in Scottsdale! It was a very nice evening. The food was good, the company was great and the White Elephant Gift Exchange was the best! :) It was really fun! I get a kick out of silly, nutty gifts. Leonard & I scored this year I think! Check out our winnings. I won this sweet exercise hula hoop! It is officially called...ACU HOOP I stole it once and it was stolen from me...oh no you don't! So I stole it back! Let me tell you this sucker KILLS!!! It is suppose to beat the heck out of your waist and make it inches smaller. The directions say "trim your waist 2 inches a month until fit" ok then... it is gonna take me quite a while! I better bet working. it suggests to PLAY 10 minutes twice a day a day and warns you to NOT use it more than 20 minutes at a time! Now I know why! i can barely handle 30 seconds! It weighs 3 lbs but feels like you are hula hooping 30 lbs. and it has these hard bumpy ridges in the inside... i think for the fat break down beatings... :) It beats up my hip bones pretty darn good. I feel bruised! It cautions you on the box may get bruises!!! maybe I should stick with sit ups and normal exercise! I didn't realized it was a torcher device when I had my heart set on it. it may need to be re-gifted next year ;)

Image
These pictures are for our NetApp buddies!!! hee hee hee! The other AWESOME white elephant gift we came home with was this sweet, soft, snugly BLUE SNUGGIE!!! Yes, we are now the proud owners of a SNUGGIE and I simply adore it! It is a Blanket with Sleeves for all you who don't know what a great invention this is! Leonard won if for me. It was a hot item and we stole it for the 3rd and final time! Hooray! I love it and I have been wearing it around all day long...more about that soon :) I even brought it to the movies and NO I am NOT ashamed! It was awesome!

We were also invited to the HUGE GO DADDY party...the company rents out the entire Chase Field Ball park and caters 100's of guests a nice meal and games & Entertainment. This year, we were "blessed " to hear from The Temptations & The Four Tops Singers/performers and a crappy comedian lady... Paula Poundstone (I think) anyway, the company was great! but I didn't take any pictures this year! you can just imagine the fun :)

~ SEDONA CHRISTMAS VACATION~Image
My parents have a time share in Sedona and they were soooo kind to share their week at their place with me and my sisters and our families! It was a great Christmas gift! This condo is perfect and has it's own kitchen ( which we enjoyed a fixed a few meals at as you can see. ) so it's basically a HOME AWAY FROM HOME! We headed out on Dec 27th for 3 days of fun...or at least we were planning on that...

We got to enjoy a nice warm fireplace, a HOT STEAMING Hot Tub and freezing cold pool that Leonard and the girls dared each other to take a dip in... they are crazy! We had TV with cable!!!! & commercials too! WOW! the kids were in heaven. ( we don't have cable or local for that matter. we use our TV for movies :) it is real nice! anyway...

Image

We got to be silly, read, relax, be silly...oh i said that didn't I...There was a lot of that going on. The only crappy thing about this perfect getway is that I started to get a cold, sore throat, bad headaches before we left, but we HAD TO GO! We need a vacation! so we went and I kept feeling worse and worse. Sinus Pressure, cough, runny nose, ear stuffiness and pain! DANG IT!!! I don't want to be sick! Not now! I am trying to enjoy a family vacation!!! GRRRRR! we venture out and I try to shake it off...

Image

We journey to Red Rock State Park for a little hiking and fresh air! It was the littlest state park we have ever visited! it was nice though and the kids got to run around and burn some energy off!

Image

Gotta love the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona! It was cold and we loved it!

Image

This bridge was cool! my guys are so good looking too!

Image

The girls loved exploring the park! They are too cute too!

Image

Ahh, and there is me...Sick and putting on a happy face! such a trooper eh? ;)

Image
We got to spend some good quality time in the car together! nothing like car time that brings a family together! :)

Image
We were feeling the need for some adventure...well mostly Leonard but I'll go along for the ride. WE saw tons of PINK JEEPs driving around Sedona. You can pay an arm and a leg for an off road adventure with PINK JEEP TOURs but we chose to take the RED YUKON TOUR instead and it was free of charge too!!!! Cha-ching!!!!
Blake crashed out for a deep sleep in time for the Sedona Red Yukon Tour! I was amazed he could sleep through all that body jarring! WE laughted and laughed! Kaitlyn was assigned the "Blake Head Holder Upper" job for the tour. she did great! & Blake lived:)

Here is a couple small video clips of our own sedona Red Yukon tour. They are short and bumpy. So bumpy and rocky that I thought I made a 5 minute video of our tour but I think the camera got bumped off record a couple times. it is only a 22 & 27 second clips.

Nice hu? don't you wish you joined us on our 1 hour long + adventure??? oh we followed some pink jeeps to this trail, that's how we knew were on " the tour" :)

Image
This is how I felt during and after the "tour". my brain does not like to be jarred back and forth like that especailly a sick weak brain...at the moment. I continued to feel THIS WAY for the next several days. We ended up cutting our vacation short by a day so I could get home to my own bed and to Dr. Phelps! Turns out my cold turned into Bronchitis, Ear infection and the start of strep throat. He sent me home with a prescription anti-biotic ZPACK to the rescue! I rested, and read , wore my new blue snggie for days! I even broke our leonard's hand warmers and they were perfect and comfy as they warmed my aching throat glands. Leoanrd was great and took care of the kids! This is NOT how i wanted to spend Christmas Break! I had big plans... the Zoo, Daily long bike rides in the middle of the day, rollerblading with the kids. But it wasn't so! Oh well, I guess it was my turn! I partied to hard and stayed up too late for too many days and my health took a nose dive. I am feeling great today though! Hooray! Leonard's throat was feeling sore tonight! NOOOOOO! I hope it is just a false alarm!!! Only time will tell! :) overall, our Sedona Vacation was wonderful and everyone enjoyed their time away and winter swimming in the heated indoor pool! Thanks Mom & Dad for sharing this with us! :)

~New Year Eve~
Image
Happy New Year!!! 2010 is gonna be great! Kaitlyn was excited to bang pans outside and yell and holler! Carly was down for the count and did not want to be bothered, I tried!
Image
Leonard & I made our traditional Apple Cider Toast to a new and happy year! I was still feeling ill if you can't tell by the pics! YIKES!!!!
Image
Martinelli's apple Cider is sure tasty and nothing SCREAM HAPPY NEW YEAR than a glass of martinelli's with the People you Love!
