Update
Two months, two ER visits, one of which I'd like to forget, two massive broken bones, two surgeries, four pins, six cast/splints, many doctor visits, and finally good news!! Cast is off and I got to bathe my arm!!! It is going to take a lot of Physical Therapy, Ive been going three days a week for about and hour and a half each time. Its a lot to squeeze into my schedule, but I'm working it out. The occupational therapist that I am working with is amazing, and I trust him completely! There are days he makes me cry, but "no pain, no gain" right? I am really looking forward to being healthy and active again! I know its going to be a long road to a full recovery, but I know I can do it! I believe in my self! My goal is to be able to do a push up by Christmas! :)
Everyone gave me such a hard time about signing my cast, but I couldn't stand the thought of it looking so messy! ;) Well, the night before the last surgery when I knew the cast would be coming off, I gave in and let my kids graffiti me up! :)
This picture is nasty, but this is right after the surgical splint came off.
And What it looks like today. Considering what Its been though, I think it looks pretty good!!

Mommy Daughter Halloween Dinner Date! :)
Jamyn and I were able to attend a Mommy Daughter Date! We had tons of fun! Its always great to get to have a little one on one time with one of my babes! It was halloween dress up, and Jamyn was a cute little hippy, I tried to throw something cute together out of my closet, so this is the best I could come up with! We had so much fun!!
Cameron!!
Our family has a new family member, so I have a new nephew, and he is so dang cute! His name is Cameron, he just turned seven and he is loads of fun! He has been able to spend a lot of time at our house and fits in great with my kiddos. Its a really long story, but what matters most is now he has a loving home that he absolutely loves and a family that accepts and loves him!

Read A Thon
Discovery Elementary's principal duct taped to the wall. The kids read 129,000 minutes and earned over $6,000! They were so excited to see this. He stayed up all through lunch! What a great sport!! My kids all met the goals that they set and between the three of them earned $2200 for the school! I am so proud of them!!

Where did August go?
Well, it is now September...where did our summer go? We celebrated Nathan's Birthday August 5th. He is finally 32! :)
We headed to Salmon, Idaho so that I could go play in a softball tournament over the weekend. It was beautiful there, the weather was perfect! We were having so much fun!! The third game of the tournament I was running to second base and needed to slide to avoid getting out. I slid, and somehow in the process broke my arm. I heard the most awful crack, felt a feeling of pain overcome my entire body, and as soon as I pulled my arm up you could vividly see that my arm was broken. FYI, I was safe!! :) I was rushed into town to the ER where I had a horrible experience! The doctor, along with Nathan, and lack there of drugs proceeded to set my arm, not once, but twice. They put me in an ugly blue hard cast up over my elbow, told me it wasn't perfect, but it would have to do, and sent me on my way. Well, I have been around, and knew that I shouldn't be in a hard cast, especially considering my fingers were turning purple before I left the hospital due to the swelling. Plus, telling me my arm isn't perfect...really...didn't sit well with me! We went to the place we were staying and I tried to rest, which was impossible due to the incredible pain I was in. We hurried home the next day and since my fingers were purple, and so swollen I had no space between them we rushed to the ER in Idaho Falls. They couldn't believe the shape I was in! They took the cast off, replaced it with a splint and sent me to an orthopedic surgeon.Found out that I completely broke both bones in my lower arm in half and shattered the joint in my wrist. They did surgery to repair the damage, and now I have 4 pins holding my bones together. The doctor told me the break was bad enough that I probably should have been life flighted and rushed to emergency surgery. At three weeks after the accident I finally got a cast below the elbow, so that made life a little easier...a little! Plus, the cast is super cute bright pink, so that brought a little sunshine to my soul! :)It has been a really hard six weeks, I love summer, especially the heat and sunshine. Its been hard avoiding both, since I can't stand it when my arm gets hot, sweaty, and swells. I have been trying to over come this trial, and find myself. I have so much fear of the future, and the unknown, but I know with strength and hope I can endure anything! I return to surgery this coming Friday to remove the hardware. Hopefully that will ease some of the pain, and I will be back to normal soon!
On a lighter note...August is over, School is back in session. Back to school post soon to follow. I'm over typing one handed so good night!

Lake Powell
We were able to spend 12 Days at Lake Powell this year, and as always, it was amazing! Pretty much my favorite place ever! The weather was perfect, the Lake was beautiful, and everything was amazing! The kids had so much fun playing in the water all day every day. We did a ton of boat rides and site seeing, every trip things change so much so its always a new beautiful experience. We all wakeboarded. Jace is learning so well, Jamyn is doing awesome, and Whit is amazing...seriously the girl is a natural. She had a blast double boarding with Dad! The kids love the tube. Krew and Kynz and Jace did great on the skis! We lounged around and soaked up the sun! The time went so fast, and I am so looking forward to the next trip! It is always hard to come home, but good to be home! I am so thankful for being able to spend time with my amazing children and make memories to last a lifetime!
