Smarties
Tonight since the boys were at football practice the girls asked if we could do something "girlish", so I whipped out the good old fingernail polish. As Marcie was picking out the perfect color she came across an old bottle of red paint that Jaden used to paint his pinewood derby car a couple years ago. She remembered that he used it to paint his car . I was totally shocked she could remember that so long ago and only being 2years old too!!! I asked her how in the heck she got so smart? She proudly anwsered...
"Because I eat lots of smarties!"

Naked and on the Field
So we've been watching lots of the movie Sandlot lately. It's one of our family favs. It's Graham's first time to really get into the movie. We hear quotes all the time from the Classic. Of course we hear quotes like this one:
"Isn't that your sister naked out there on the field? "
The character Ham say's this doozie. Graham repeats. Probably because he thinks it's hillarious.
Why do they ALWAYS remember the naughty stuff????

Tabernacle of Clay
* 6:45 AM
* Jaden was freaking because he couln't find his belt.
* Allie and Graham were fighting over a Halloween magazine ( picking out $50 costumes that they have no idea their cheap mother won't buy).
* Nobody wanting to eat the cinnamon freanch toast I had just made.
* Marcie sreaming for chocolate milk.
* Are the homework folders in the backpacks?
* Lunch money friday. Do I have $5?
* Shoes on NOW!!!!
* Feeling overwhelmed by 6:45 AM
* 7:15, time for scripture
* Not feeling like reading because I'm ticked and the morning is CRAP.
* Read anyway
* Moroni 9:6
And now, my beloved son, notwithstanding their hardness, let us labor diligently; for if we should cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation; for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteouness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God.
* Really, Really glad I read anyway!

It's the Most Wonderful time of the Year-2009!
The summer was fun, I went crazy, we swam tons, the kids were getting on each others nerves, and I was totally ready for school to start. But I have to say, on the days Marcie is at preschool I don't want to be home. The quiet, empty house makes me nervous. I know I'll get use to it soon enough, but for now I kind of miss the wild summer days. On the bright side, the kids are having the time of their lives at school with all their good buddies and awesome teachers. After almost 10 years of a kid constantly with me, I am really looking forward to a few hours a week to me, myself, and TARGET!!!! It's going to be a fun year.

Thanks Heather!
My good friend sent me an email about one of her friends scary experiences with her blog. After reading it I have decided to make our family blog private. If you would like to check in on our crazy family now and then email me with your email, or leave it in the comments if you feel okay doing that.

Feaby Muffin Lovin
A few weeks ago the kids gathered up all of their money and asked their Dad (not Mom) if he would take them over to Petsmart so they could buy a rodent. So, we have done critters in the past. The first was a gerbil that died of a heart attack because Sophie found it's cage and gave it a joy ride around the backyard. Second, a guinea pig that we kept for a couple months, but was soooo stinky we ended up giving it away at a garage sale. The third was a snake that Jaden got for his 8th birthday. One day he escaped his poorly devised container and we have never been able to find him (probably hiding, growing, waiting for the time to seek its revenge). The fourth was "Feaby Muffin", a cute litte dwarf hamster. You would think we (when I say "we" I really mean Darren) would have learned from our past mistakes. Well cute little Feaby lasted three weeks. The poor thing probably died because she came to the critter cursed Lovin house. The kids really did love her, and she was actually pretty cute. This is how she will be remembered...
Feaby Muffin Lovin
Will be remembered for how fast she went on her wheel.
Rest in Peace little Feaby.
