Birthday with the Divas!

The weekend after my birthday, my girls wanted to take me out to do something fun and to eat. Of course we have to go eat!!! So I thought about things to do. So I decided we would go paint our own pottery. It was so much fun. When you get there you have to choose what you want to paint. There are so many choices. I chose a dog bowl!Here is what it looked like before I started to design and paint. Then I sponged the paint on the bowl. I did mine in a light green color. After that dried, I stenciled on some doggy bones and paw prints. Then went and painted them orange, blue, red, yellow, and a dark green. After that is done you leave it there and they glaze and fire it for you. Then you pick it up and enjoy your art! Here is what it looked like when I left it there. It is a lot of work, but lots of fun! Here are mom, Alice, Lisa Lynne, and Lisa painting there stuff. We all had lots of fun.This is after we were done and left them to be finished. They all turned out really cute. Wish I had gotten a picture of all of them after they were completed. Oh well. Will have to do this again.

Moving Day

Ok! So I got a few pictured of the boxes before we actually started moving them. Then once everyone got there and started working I forgot to take pictures. And when we got to the new place I forgot to take pictures there too. I am not doing very well remembering to take pictures of stuff. Maybe I will get better about that.Here are the boxes in our old living room before being hauled off to the U-haul truck. They were heavy. Doesn't look like a lot from the picture, but there were a lot of boxes. I think about 20 boxes and then all the furniture. New apartment is upstairs. So we had to carry everything up the stairs once we got there. Did I mention it was hot that day!!! But we survived. I have to thank everyone again that helped us. If it wasn't for them we would have never gotten everything to the new place. Our helpers are the best ever and we love them bunches!

One Year!!! : )

So back in May we had our one year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been a year already. Time goes by so fast. We didn't do a whole lot. My mom got us a night at the Omni Hotel so we stayed the night there. Ordered in some room service food and just hung out. It is a really nice hotel. Kinda expensive. Not too exciting, but we had fun.Here is the outside of the hotel.Here is the big fancy king size bed. The pillows were so soft I wanted to bring them home!

Sad News

Ok! So it has been awhile since I have updated. I have a few posts that need to get done if I get a chance to get them on here. And if I can find the camera!!! So back to the sad news. I have to report that we are back to only having one pet again, Chance. Butters has gone to live with a new family. I am not completely sure yet why we gave him away. Maybe one day I can explain. Right now we are sad and trying to deal with giving him away. Thinking about it makes me cry and Justin doesn't even want to mention his name. I really miss the crazy little piggy. He was really sweet and cute. I am sure we will get another pet one day, but not sure what it will be or when. The family he went to live with is a good family. One of the interns that works with Justin took him for his girlfriend and his little sister fell in love with him and is now going to keep him. I am just glad that we know who has him and that he will be loved and well taked care of. Now I am sad and going to cry.

Wreck #2

Just so everyone knows, Justin was hit by an old lady last week. We have another rent car! He was going through his green light and this lady turned on her red light. He thought she would stop in the far right or middle lane since they were clear!! But she didn't stop and merged into him. Hit him so hard it knocked him up on the curb. So it is in the shop now getting fixed. He is ok by the way. He didn't get hurt. Just the car. So now we get to go through waiting to see if her insurance is going to pay and all that fun again!

Chance

OK, so I am a big dork. I thought this was so cute I had to get a picture and I had to post it so everyone could see if they thought it was cute too! So I think it is adorable. Justin laughed at me. But this is the time he is good. He was asleep on the bed cuddle up with one of my stuffed animal doggies. I had to post it. It was just too cute!

Bowling Night

My work has Spring to Health every April. Every year I do a few more things than I did the year before. So this year we added going to the bowling night! It actually was a lot of fun. I have to admit I am not very good, but I did try. It was me, Justin, Karen, and Jon on our team. We didn't win, but we had lots of fun.I guess we will have to do it again next year. Maybe the more we play the better we will get.

Panchos anyone??!!??

So we were really hungry after work and Justin decided he wanted Panchos! So we went. Doesn't that look yummy? Oh wait there is more!Still so yummy! Anyone else hungry for Panchos now?We had to "Raise the Flag" for another chalupa and drinks! I have to say it was very yummy. I am really full now. So is Justin!!
