Surprise in the mailbox yesterday!  That Ibby Taylor Greer ~ she has a big heart of gold ~ she keeps on giving and giving. Thank you dear friend.  I did not have this and I'm SO glad you sent it.

Hot July Evening Sky

I took this on my way home tonight from Vendor Night.  I couldn't help but stop and snap snap snap!!! In spite of the horrid heat, it was a beautiful evening with a stunning sky.

It is 10:00 p.m. and it is 91 degrees out.  Amazing!

How can you be 9?  It seems like you were just born not that long ago.  I hope you have a super happy day and my wish is that the next year will bring you so much joy that smiles will never leave your face.  Your Great-Aunt misses seeing that face! ♥

July Bluebirds

 The dear Bluebirds had a rough time this summer as the Mockingbirds took over the front yard and kept chasing the bluebirds away.  I watched in horror as the dear Bluebirds darted in and out of the birdhouse when they could.

I am happy that the Mockingbirds moved elsewhere and the Bluebirds were able to have their family in peace.

They sure make a lot of noise with their constant chirping, so I think there might be more than three. 

 Momma brings worms often.

It makes me SO happy to see this.  I look forward to it every year.

Although the Full Moon (Buck Moon) is forecast for Tuesday, it sure looks pretty full tonight and it is clear and beautiful.

Saturday

 After spending 3 days on the couch with gout this week, I was happy to be on my feet for a while Saturday.  Bought this cute little doxie boot scraper at an estate sale and then enjoyed a short afternoon rain shower that ended with a beautiful rainbow.  The night ended with a gorgeous sky.

Down and out for a while  ~ Gout in the ankle.  Painful!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, John!!

Sending wishes for the BEST kind of day.  Maybe one of these years we'll be back in Ohio on your Birthday and be able to celebrate with you.  Fondly remembering those past Birthday dinners at The Desert Inn ~ always such fun!  

On my way home from church this evening.  I think the deer are beginning to trust me.

Fawns

 Today was my lucky day!!  I've seen the two little fawns a couple of times but they've always dodged into the woods.  They were right across the street from the house early this morning grazing along the edge of the woods.  I got as close as I could and the sweeties posed for me.  Happy!!

Hydrangea

Hydrangea is my favorite flower.  My bushes are filled with lovely blooms this year.  Happy!!

Wisteria

After a dreadful Spring that just about killed my wisteria, it is thick and green and STILL blooming!

Bought a good friend who is going through radiation treatments a dozen roses.  They were so gorgeous, I bought myself a dozen!
