I seriously LOVE weddings! The toasts, the love in the air, the memories of my own wedding day, all of it. And this one did not disappoint. It was on a beautiful plantation outside manasses, There was good food, beautiful scenery, and lots of love. It was small and cozy, just perfection. And seeing your family get out on the dance floor and cut a rug, well that is the best part.

The wedding part 1
Congratulations to the beautiful couple! We are thrilled to have Mckinzie join the family! You may see pictures of Graham and wonder why he's such a grump. Well, #1 - He hates pictures and #2 after the day was coming to an end, we found out he was really sick. All day he was so lethargic, and begging to go to bed. Luckily he had Piper there to help keep him awake. He fell asleep at smashburger after all the pictures. Not only did he fall asleep on a bench there (with Greta) he rolled off the bench, fell on the floor, and crawled back on the bench in to a ball and went back to sleep.
Mark and McKinzie's wedding : Family Dinner
The family dinner was a success! We had a delicious crepe caterer, making savory and sweet crepes all night, and darling m&ms with Mark and Mckinzie on them. The littles thought that was the best part. The slideshow was darling, the food was great, and the company even greater. However, I think the highlight was when we found a giant turtle in the parking lot. The kids were mesmerized, and Graham was convinced it was a real dinosaur.
A highlight for me was finding this angelic moment between Piper and Graham. I was fortunate to have my camera around my neck at the time. He was upset about something, and he really has a soft spot for Piper. She was able to calm him down and cheer him up, and the way the light was shining on her was so telling of her. She really is such a little angel, so sweet, and so caring. I love my nieces something fierce.
One fun part was when the Peterson family showed up! It was so fun to connect with them again, as they were the ones who got this whole family started really. Without him serving his mission and baptizing my parents in Canada so many years ago, there wouldn't be the last 6 watson kids. There wouldn't be any temple weddings, and there wouldn't have been the dynamic duo of Braden and Megan. So yeah, they played an important role in our family throughout our lives as we have kept in touch from the beginning.
Hotel living
Hotel living isn't the most glamorous, but it certainly is way more fun when you have your awesome cousins to hang out with! Oh, and it also is an added bonus when Cafe Rio is down the street :) We had fun hanging out before all the wedding festivities started!
