Back to the NICU we go!

 After we got home with Finley his airway obstructed and he stopped breathing.  We suctioned him and called the squad and ended back up in the NICU for further testing.  It was Maggie's fourth birthday on the 19th so this is what we did for it! :(  Went to the roof top garden which was not very pretty that day, but the kids thought it was cool to see the cars on the highway.  

 Maggie and Charlie were so sad that their brother had to go back to the hospital.  They were so close!  They had him home for such a short time!!  They were so scared, as they witnessed the whole event at the house.  They were both so relieved to get their hands back on Finley and see that he was ok!!!

 Anthony was only able to stay at the hospital with us part of the time.  We had lots of help from Pamela and Charlie with the other kids but they really needed Anthony at home with them.  It was a lot for their young little minds to take in.  

 Watching your child go through all the tests and routines of the NICU is EXHAUSTING!!! (as you can see) I have a new respect for any family that has to go through it!  

Luckily our baby Finn is ok.  He is alive.  And well.  And we THANK GOD everyday for that!!!!

 Our newest addition, Finley Roger Meis, or as Maggie would say, Finley Grandpa Roger Meis!! 

 He made his speedy arrival into this world on May 16th, 2013!  

 He was very bruised, as you can see he is purple and blue in this pic.  Poor baby! 

 He had a low blood sugar when he was born so he got a bit of formula to help him out.

Lost tooth and Baby Bently

 Mr. Charlie lost his first tooth, 6 years old, in Kindergarten, at lunch, biting into an apple at school one day!

 Maggie, Charlie and I surprised Aunt Betsy and came to see our newest, little Zimmer cousin right after he was born.  

 It took a couple days, but the little dude finally got a name, Bently Kenneth Zimmer!
