Wrapping things up — The New Year way.

Time flew by like the pages of a book. I, however, didn’t notice the days I had spent or perhaps I didn’t bother to track about it. Even if I only hazily recall what happened in my life, (if there’s any) those memories will surely be a precious treasure that can’t be replaced nor conquered by anyone. Sure they had downs as I sometimes had anxiety or depression from time to time, but I had a blast within my heart, blessed with my part-time job and support from everyone in reality and mostly in the internet. That year was probably my gateway or the single step towards the stairway to adulthood, and that makes me feel slightly happy.

A sequel to the best show from Summer 2011, Yuru Yuri, has been unexpectedly announced yesterday. Saving the best news for last, eh? In fact, as I’m wallowing in tears from the unending reality’s wrath, I’m now crying in joy from the bottom of my heart with this counterstrike as my source of happiness. With this, my MEANINGLESS existence has another MEANING to live for another year, and I’ll wait patiently this summer or perhaps during spring if possible. Thank you based Namori and Dogakobo!  We, Yuru Yuri fans, appreciate your early Christmas present!

In other unrelated news, Winter Anime 2011 will soon to hit the fan in the next two weeks. There goes my internet billing(w).

Fall Season Anime 2011 First Impressions

Every year, Spring and Autumn have always been the highlights that usually caters to avid anime viewers and fanatics. The general idea or perspective in respect for these seasons is that the former has promising yet dreamy titles, whilst the latter has always competitive yet overwhelming ones that would only leave you breathless and awestruck as the year metaphorically closes its red curtain; afterward, the audiences give round of applause towards the actors, actresses, playwright, and all of the staffs who worked hard on the said play. Given that no one would literally expect the myriad of fresh upcoming titles such as sequels, light novel adaptations, original ones, and remakes for this blessed, grand year, this season truly delivers the expectations and promises in passive yet progressive manner towards the enthusiasts. Here are my initial thoughts and impressions so far:

Steins;Pepper Equilibrium

Tonight, we’ve reached the pinnacle of Steins Gate.
As if it was predetermined from the beginning of Beta line.
As if it was established to the end of Alpha line.
Within the divergence of one percent possibility.

The 13th of September ended not with a whimper but a bang to S;Gfans around the world. At the end of its finale, where Okabe Rintarou aka Hououin Kyouma — the self-proclaimed mad scientist made the impossible possible as he fought the infinite loop of time and space through deceiving to reach the beyond nature of Steins Gate, /a/ residents from 4chan had once again started a new spice and enthusiasm on “Operation Dr Pepper”. More than 400 participants took some images of their workstations with S;G-related paraphernalia  and Dr  Pepper products, and it was a huge success without a glimpse of failure. Yes, I’ve also conducted my fair share even for a cent of thought.

Congratulations to all folks out there! Don’t forget to watch the upcoming movie in the near future.

Hey, guys. It’s been awhile since I posted here, approximately a year and six months of hiatus. Truth to be told, some anonymous, who was the first one to give a comment here, had urged my interest to revive this blog once and for all. I give my awe-inducing and gratuitous thanks to you! <brofist.jpg> In other unrelated news, for the past 3+ years of infinite loop of suffering and depression as a NEET, I’m now working and contributing to the society as a chef at a local Japanese Restaurant, how lucky I am and thought I had been “abandoned”  in real life. Thanks to my boss, he’s really kind and well-deserving  man who always gives me a pat on the back every time I commit mistakes and whatnot, a thousand praise and tears aren’t even enough for him. Anyways, introduction has been over, Mesousa is no longer alone and upset, so let’s move on to the real topic.

Say goodbye to Summer, and hello Autumn Days!

Whether we like it or not, things have come to an end —  seasonal anime for instance. Most, if not all, of currently airing anime have either one or two episodes left, initiating the barrage of character development and wrapping up towards the finale. Two-cour anime from Spring season such as Ao no Exorcist, Nichijou, and Hanasaku Iroha did a fine work to entertain me as their respective episodes progress, whilst Yuru Yuri, Usagi Drop, Idolm@ster, Baka to Test S2, and Natsume Yuujinchou S3 have delivered an exceptional, irrefutable aspects of providing a rollercoaster of fusses and kicks. Honorable mentions are Dantalian no Shoka, Mayo Chiki, Nurahiyon no Mago S2, and Kaiji S2 had its moments as well. I sincerely hope that these aforementioned shows maintain their level of appraisal as the Spring 2011 shows seemed anti-climatic and disappointing as far as I can remember.

On the other hand, let’s talk about the world of otaku music and hits.

The day of  immense trolling for laughs and giggles, April fools, has come by once again. This year, it has a pretty good start which is either unique or somewhat effective way for believing every individual.

First, Type-moon has an upgraded version of  roleplaying using twitter like this one. On the other hand, Tokyotoshokan, one of the best torrent sites exclusively for fansubbed to RAW anime, hentai, music, and other media, has another gimmick to trick everyone. Last year, they said that TT was bought by a chinese entrepreneur and changed the name into “Beijing Tushukan”, but this year, they used Crunchyroll’s layout with fake promos and giveaways. Despite all of this, the start of spring season is just around the corner as well. As usual, casual anime fans couldn’t wait for fresh newcomers to hit the TV stations, fansubbers, and fans themselves.

In other world-breaking news, we have a Japanese chewing gum advertisement featuring the main heroines of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. In effect, the ploy and marketing tactics have been taken to a higher, new level.

Meanwhile, Baka to Test to Shokanjuu Season 2 has been officially announced in its website. Well sorta, it might be another April Fools joke, but I, who enjoyed and loved the series so much, want another serving, and Japan shouldn’t let anyone down at the moment.

Also, not-so-long weeks ago, I had browsed Nico Douga for my daily/weekly dose of fresh pop-culture videos. I stumbled upon the Rasmus Faber’s Platina Jazz – they played some anime songs, “jazzed” all of it, and made some heavenly, lovable creations. Here’s a sample live from Sweden. Download the soundtrack here.

Recently, moot, who created 4chan, unleashed 4chan 2.0, where a certain poster can submit a post from Facebook via 4chan. It seems pretty useless to all who don’t have a Facebook account, and reclusive Anonymous of 4chan such as myself. Either way, moot should have another gimmick in order to cover up this utmost regret.

So far, this is most likely the best April Fools’ Day I’ve ever witnessed so far, and I hope I would see more of this for a limited time.

This is it. I believe this is the last straw for spring. Enjoy.

( ´∀`)

Note:

BRS has been announced on its official site, and it’ll be released on the fourth week of June. Therefore, this will not be in Spring but Summer.

The movies’ dates are their respective theatrical dates. Mostly, their DVD/Blu-ray releases will be released in five to six months. Search Amazon.jp, neowing, or wait for the announcement from their official sites.

Despite that, everyone should knew that by now, and I believe they should be included on every chart because the mere fact that they’re suppose to be aired in theaters this spring, and anyone should be aware that a movie(s) upon their liking exist. It could have been better if there were some reliable sites to have DVD/BR and theater releases respectively. But for now, I can only rely to moonphase and their respective official sites.

I’ve never expected this to happen, really. There are, perhaps, almost 100 participants (that includes me) including duplicates  in this once-in-a-year event, which is nothing but conspiracy-involving created by capitalists to manipulate people here and there for money like Christmas Day. Cheers for people in /a/ and /jp/ who cherish and stay loyal to their respective waifu with their unrequisite love. Have a nice, ronery Valentines. Onwards to Christmas!

Finally, I’ve created a blog of my own. Who would have thought that a mere and useless bunny like me make it too!  It took me a couple of hours just to know that I should sign-up or access a web-hosting site before I can add my own theme. Sacrifing a lot of time instead of doing my own response paper. Well anyways, it can’t be helped. These thoughts are pointless for everyone, no one will read it anyway. Regardless, blog updatan. Start!
