When my friend Cori was here visiting with her little girl Chloe I learned from her to try and let my little toddler help with little things like cooking and cleaning. So I decided to try it and had my 2 year old Esther help me with the dishwasher. I had her stand on a chair and sort the silverware back into the tray. She loved it! I kept encouraging through it and while she got a few spoon in the forks I told her great job at the end and she said, "I gweat job!". I never stop smiling at my little girl. She also had a timeout yesterday and when I went to talk to her she tried to change the subject as she often does and said, "I cwying... a bit." And she says that over and over while I try to explain the reason she is on the "naughty spot" (which was for spitting more than once). I really can't believe I have a toddler and a baby! I swear I just graduated from high school.
