Around 07:30 in the morning and this convenience corner shop hadn’t opened. I’m amazed no one had not helped themselves! Still, being quite a cold morning, at lease the milk was chilled.

Sheerness, England. 2025
This the old Napoleonic jail and guard house next ‘The Ship on Shore’ public house in Sheerness in Kent.
Built in the 1940s, it’s one of the oldest buildings to use concrete in the England. Called the ‘Grotto’ at the time it was used to house French prisoners which were used for labouring on the canals around the island.
