We finally have some pretty flowers springing up!

My Mother's Day

I received some special Mother's Day presents from Spiderman this year via his teacher at school...

A colored piece of paper that says "Mom I love you because..." which he filled in "you give me things."

A bag of bath salts with a message that says:
Here's a gift for Mother's Day
I'll try my best in every way
But if you get upset with me
Relax and soak!! Don't you agree?

A Mother's Survival Kit (little baggy with items that he selected to fill it)
Penny ~ for your thoughts
Marble ~ to replace the ones you'll lose
Rubber band ~ to remind you to be flexible
Lifesaver ~ to save you from one of those days
Toothpick ~ to help you pick out the good in every situation
Eraser ~ to remind you that everyone makes mistakes
Wiggle Eyes ~ for when you need those extra eyes in the back of your head
Starburst ~ for that extra burst of energy
Hug and Kiss (Hershey's) ~ for when you've given all yours out and you need some back
Band-aid ~ to help with all of life's hurt feelings
Button ~ to remind you to button your lips (sometimes)

Grandpop and Grandmom's Visit

My parents arrived the night before Spiderman's birthday for a three-week visit in Idaho! They drove across the country this time... so they were able to bring their own car and lots of stuff with them! We are enjoying some of the books and things from my childhood that have been at their house all this time... My dad built a garden gate/fence for our vegetables... we double the size of our garden this year. My mom is sewing quilted pillow shams for the boys, curtains, hemming pants for me and put Hubby's certified arborist patch on his jacket! We organized the pantry... installed a window A/C (so it's ready when this weather gets better!)... went to some yard sales... touched up paint all over the house... and more! They are staying at my sister's house at the moment, but they'll be back. Tomorrow we'll go to a Tball game together. It's nice to have them around. And very helpful when I have to teach a lesson!!!
