So if you can't tell, Carson and Luke are singing along to Carson's Radio DJ! The song...Itsy Bitsy Spider. One of the favorites from Nursery. I think we sing that song at least 10 times a day, radio or not! This morning Luke came to play for a bit, and they are so cute together when they do stuff like this! Other times, two 2 yr olds can make sharing toys a very hard thing to do! But after the dust settles, they always remain good friends! To bad adults aren't always as fast to forgive and forget...maybe there is something to be learned from toddlers! Saturday, March 29, 2008

10. Going to Disneyland for our 4th anniversary.
9. Buying our first home in Magna, UT in 2001.
8. Building our home in Woods Cross, UT in 2004.
7. Nick graduating from college. (Twice)
6. Getting involved in Real Estate Investing and flipping houses together!
5. Nick getting a job at Hill AFB (an actual career!)
4. Brittany quitting her job, and staying home with our children full time!
3. Getting engaged, and married November 10, 2000.
2. Getting sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, July 20, 2002.
1. The birth of our Son Carson and our Daughter Kaylee. We love you!!!
I don't think 8 years ago on that night we met, we could imagine what the future would hold for us, and now how wonderful and blessed our lives are today. We love having our two children, and can't imagine our lives without them! We love where we live, and love our neighbors and great friends! Our families have grown with our siblings getting married and having kids of their own! It has just been so fun to see how things have changed that way in the last 8 years. Missions, Weddings, and even funerals have been included in the last 8 years. I am sure that there will be even more important things that will happen in the next 8 years, and we can't wait to see where we will be at that time!

Happy Easter!
We had such a great easter weekend! We headed down to Holden Saturday afternoon. Carson had fun coloring easter eggs with his cousins and playing with his new cars and track that he got for easter. On Sunday we enjoyed going to church with Grandma Bennett, and it was fun to dress the kids up in their new easter clothes! I think they are so adorable all dressed up, if I do say so myself! We also got a chance to go to the sand dunes just outside of Holden. Carson wasn't so sure about all the sand in his toes, but once he got used to it, he loved it!! It was a fun weekend, and we look forward to more fun ones now that the weather is getting warmer!!

What a hunk!!
My little brother Chris is 17, and last night went to his Jr. Prom. We weren't able to see him that night, but I was able to take some pictures of him in his good looking tux today when we saw him. It is crazy to think how big he is and that he is dating!! I saw pictures of his date, and she was very pretty! She even won 2nd attendant to the prom queen! Chris was nominated for Prom King but didn't win. But they had a great time from what he said. Him and his friends even got a Limo!! How Fun!! You're a cutie Chris! Love ya!

What a week!!
Last Sunday Nick woke up feeling yucky and spent all day resting. By Monday it was even worse! So he stayed home from work that day and rested hoping that by Tuesday he could return to work. But when 4 AM rolled around Tues morning, both Carson and myself were up not feeling well either! Carson had thrown up and had a temp and I also had a temperature, but was freezing! So we spent the next 2 days in bed ourselves! So, Nick didn't make it to work on Tues since he had to stay home and take care of us and Kaylee! Luckily our wonderful sister in law Natalie stayed with us Tues night and took care of Kaylee and Nick was able to go to work Wed, while Natalie was home taking care of us! So the last 6 days have been yucky!! We are all doing better, but not 100% yet! But we are slowly getting there! Life has not allowed us to totally stop living, and we have still had a lot we have had to take care of this week, even though we were all sick! Kaylee is good, but has a stuffy nose! So let's hope that is all she gets! I can't wait until I feel normal again! I hate being sick more than anything! I would rather go through my csection recovery again than feel the way I felt Tues & Wed! Thanks to all those who have helped us these past few days, especially Natalie, who was our saving grace! She is the most giving and loving person anyone can know! Throughout the last few months Natalie and my Brother Matt have been just awesome! They have helped us out so much with Kaylee and Carson, that we can never thank them enough!! We love you two!!

Birthday Girl!
So yesterday, the 8th, I turned 27!! Crazy, I know! I got these beautiful roses from my thoughtful husband along with a gift certificate to Tai Pan! Yeah! That was a fun surprise! We did a little shopping and then went to dinner with our good friends at Mimi's in Layton. Yummy! After we got home they surprised me with a yummy chocolate birthday cake! Which was great since I didn't make a cake, and I was a little sad to think I didn't get a cake on my bday! So it was a fun surprise!! Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes and great gifts! It was a fun day!

Masks!!!
Carson and his good friend Luke were playing the other day with a really fun book Carson got from his grandparents! It is a pop up book about animals, but the funnest part of the book is that most of the pages have the pop ups come out and turn into these fun masks! I believe Luke is a pig, and Carson is a duck...I think. The boys thought they were pretty funny!! I love two year olds. Carson is always surprising me on how much he knows and is learning! He especially pays close attention on how we take care of Kaylee, and is always ready to help with anything. For example, if I say that Kaylee is hungry, he will run into the kitchen grab a bottle, and the can of formula and have it ready for me to make. It is great!! (You see I have a little monkey who has figured out how to get into every kitchen cupboard! even the high ones). I love my children!!

On Sunday we Nick blessed Kaylee and it was a great day to get together with our Family & Friends. We also took the opportunity to take this 4 generation picture.
