Frame.io released an update expanding its Camera to Cloud support to include JPEG + RAW stills from select Nikon cameras

Image
Frame.io released an update expanding its Camera to Cloud (C2C) support to include JPEG and RAW stills from select Nikon cameras (see previous coverage). This allows Nikon shooters using the Z6III, Z8, Z9, or ZR models to upload photos directly to Frame.io via the NX MobileAir app on iOS or Android, bypassing the need to remove memory cards or manually transfer files. The feature builds on prior video workflow integration and enables real-time collaboration, such as immediate editing in Adobe Lightroom.

Image Image
In their Nikon report from the 2026 CP+ show in Japan, Phototrend spotted a new, not-yet-announced Nikon Zf feature – a digital timestamp directly on your images, similar to what film cameras used to have a few decades ago:

While carefully observing the Japanese manufacturer’s stand, we came across a rather unusual Zf camera with a time stamp function. This allows the date the photo was taken to be “printed” directly onto the photos. It is therefore possible to add a small (permanent) inscription to JPEG photos in the bottom right-hand corner. On the prototype we were able to test, the date is displayed in orange-red by default. When switching to monochrome mode, the date is displayed in white:
