HELP
Girls!
In my PIE Academy I am teaching the different teaching strategies to my students. I was wondering if I could receive some input on the different strategies we did in class? Or if its easier... just send me a copy of your lesson plan and I can look through it for some ideas :) bar03057@byui.edu
I hope all is going well for everyone!
Sure do miss you ladies!!!

Update on Kara
Kassandra, thanks for the pictures! They make me really happy!!!
I love you all and miss you all! My classes are going awesome! The week of meetings before school started they changed my classes again so now I only have 4 sections of Adult Roles and Financial Literacy, and 2 sections of Foods I. We do use FEFE a lot for financial literacy-in fact 2 of my lessons for next week are FEFE lessons with the standardized tests at the end of the semesters for Utah some lesson plans are "set." Also for Foods I we have a standardized curriculum between the middle schools and high school so the packets/power points are already done I just incorporate them to my teaching style and figure out labs. I will be more than happy to get copies of these things for all of you-but they would have to be on discs because there is so much! If any of you have amazing ideas for either of those or good labs let me know! If you need help with anything also, let me know!!!
Love,
Kara

Hey Girls,
I just wanted to say hi and see how you all are doing with your student teaching, for those of you who don't know I'm teaching teen living, fashion and textiles, and early childhood education. If you are teaching any of these classes I would love to share info and resources with you. I also found another helpful site its an Arizona one FEFE you have to become a member, but its pretty easy, its not near as informational as Utah, but I have been able to find some useful things. Hope your all doing well, and that your having amazing experiences out teaching.
Love Kass

The End in Sight!
What an amazing semester this was!!!
Full of laughs, tears, smiles, and stress! But we did it! Yea for the class of 2011!!
OUR JOURNEY DOES NOT END HERE! this is more of a milestone for us. I can't wait to see what our roads are going to look like in 5 years!
My hope and prayer is that we are all happy with what we have been blessed with.
I am going to miss you all! What a great opportunity it was to be with each and everyone of you for the past 14 weeks bright and early every morning!
I have not only learned so much from the content within the class but I have learned valuable lessons from each of you!
KARA-your will and determination to go beyond your very best when it comes to performance in the classroom.
MEGAN- your desire and strength when it comes to upholding your viewpoint of education and how to create an atmosphere in your classroom where students will want to come and learn.
ALENA- your undoubted faith when it comes to following your heart and head whenever a worthwhile opportunity comes and you don't need to see how far that road will take you.
KIM- your sincerity for helping those who stand in need because you have the experience to share words of wisdom to all who seek it.
KASSANDRA- your unwavering devotion that when you put your mind to something, you run with it, even when there is the uncertainty that it may not work out... that is not a hindrance for you at all.
SISTER LAMMONS (VJ)- your absolute genuine love and concern for the rising generation and those that you associate with so closely. You have an undying devotion for the purpose and impact that FCS has to offer to so many individuals.
May we use this blog to lift, support, and encourage one another through the journey we have ahead of us.
GOOD LUCK!
