The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 15,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Ayakashi gohan is my first Honeybee PC game and the first (and prob the only = =) game review since my long hiatus. My word of advice for the kids out there: get as far away from universities as you can. Anyway, Honeybee surprised me with this game. The story I have read so far has exceeded the quality of their other works (houkago, starrysky), in my opinion anyway. The art is beautiful. Even the backgrounds were done so well that it really made the whole Japanese countryside setting so much more authentic. Perfect on the BGM too.
After Donten Ni Warau (before it was made into anime), Song of the Long March is another one of those really good manga that hardly anyone knows about. What the manga is about: empire, princess, revenge, hot male lead who is an enemy, and ridiculously good art.
(see below for more review written by an obsessed fan)
Yes your eyes are not playing tricks on you. That is a dude holding our heroine Kayo, and yes he is 100% male. This dude, Sakyou, may just be the prettiest character from any otome game.
Story and CG spoilers (and more evidences showing that he is in fact a man) are under the cut
If I were to summarize up things about Kuroba in a sentence, I would say he is like a monk with silver hair (●´∀`●). The silver hair because he is a foreigner, and a monk (which is kinda misleading) because Kuroba has tried for the longest time to distance himself from the rest of the human world.
First game that I have played since my long game-less hiatus due to school, but now I am finally done school so nothing can stop me from conquering this game (●´∀`●?).
Ken ga kimi is a historical visual novel project (和風伝奇恋愛ADV) from Reject (quality guaranteed) that came out a few months ago. From what I have heard and read anyway, this game was pretty much the most anticipated and well-received game of 2013 (but for some reason it lost to Otomate games in the year-end Girl’s Style poll…). Anyway, this game is divided up into two distinct chapters: a common route chapter and a personal route chapter. This review will be on the common route chapter and summary that sorts of stuff.
The awesome OP
Ken ga kimi is a great game for people:
-Who love Japanese history, especially the Edo Tokugawa period -Who enjoy some fantasy and supernatural stories -Who wouldn’t mind learning a ton of new kanjis (this game’s writing is practically full of kanjis) –Who want to become samurai (─‿‿─) -Who are just here to fangirl over the great CGs and musics
Donten ni warau is like the best undiscovered manga ever. This manga was sooo awesome that calling it a “hidden gem” would be an understatement. I stumbled upon this manga totally by chance (very unknown for some reason), but you could imagine the holy music that sounded when I opened up the first page of this manga~(lol ●´∀`● maybe not, but I’m just super obsessed with it).
In the eleventh year of the Meiji era carrying swords was forbidden by the government and those known as samurai were slowly fading away. However, there were plenty who didn’t like those changes taking place in Japan and inevitably the crime rates increased. The country’s only solution was an inescapable lake prison. Since the prison had no other way to access it except by water, the three boys of the Kumo family were assigned to transport the criminals to their new “home”. Although, is that the only thing they were doing?…
I personally loved it because the story is rather creative and not mainstream, it’s a historical piece (i’m a sucker for historical), it has fantastic characters, and the art is just amazing.
Donten ni warau’s anime PV (set to air this year!)
This is just going to be one of those very random rant posts~ I have been so busy lately~ I fired up my pc for the first time this week today T_T
Anyway, because I’m just super obsessed with nice art, so I got a little bit too excited when I saw Maria Crown has finally decided to update their website! By update I mean they changed the greeting picture on the official web ̄(エ) ̄, but Maria Crown did say on the picture that they will be posting Yoshiwara Higanbana’s info soon though~ (Here is a post for some released info on the game) Anyway, here’s that minblowingly amazing picture that I was talking about:
